Sigerson Cup round 1
TUS Midlands v Maynooth - TUS Midlands, 7pm
ATU Sligo v Ulster University - ATU Sligo, 7pm
TUD v University Galway - Grangegorman, 7pm -  Live on Youtube
UCC v UCD - The Mardyke, 5.30pm

 

Wednesday 8 January

ATU Donegal v MTU Cork - Abbotstown, 7pm
ATU Galway v UL -  Liam Mellowes, 7pm
DCU v MTU Kerry, -  DCU  5pm
St Mary's v Queens, -  Davitts, 2pm

Thanks. Probably fair enough. Their league season fell under old rules so may as well finish the campaign with old rules in championship.

There's no guarantee that these trial rules will remain after the trial period - some might, some will almost certainly not.

I see someone said an intercounty manager has told his players they're not to play in this. Any idea if that's true?

There's no guarantee that these trial rules will remain after the trial period - some might, some will almost certainly not.

I don't foresee much change after the amount of time and effort HQ have done to bring in the new rules.

The game started out quite poorly but I thought in the end there was some quality on show.  McGeehin, in goals, dealt with some very tricky situations.

Cush looks to be a classy footballer.

Strong enough UU side alright.
