Ireland was absolutley decimated by emigration from about 1983-1992.
How many rural towns have a lot of folks between the ages of 55-65  ??
Only for The US corpoartions setting up in Ireland(yes with very favourable tax rates) that mass emigration would have continued to the next generation.
What the F, did any european country or the UK do for Ireland post independence, when it was left in tatters.
a lot of houses did not get basic services like electricty and plumbing for 40 or 50 + years after.

In life people have a tipping point, and Zelenskyy probably should have used a bitta diplomacy but thank f**k someone didn't bend over and take it up the ass from those American fucks.

Unfortunately now Zelenskyy will need some help elsewhere and Putin will take advantage and eventually move in  Ukraine a lot quicker, or maybe he'll call trumps bluff and see what cards he actually has.

What press conference did you watch?

He was trying to explain, after being lectured by Vance (who knows f**k all about anything) about diplomacy, that diplomacy with Putin is useless. Trump couldn't even get the year right. Vance thought it was 'disrespectful' for Zelenskyy to try to put forward his point of view. Astounding arrogance and ignorance all at once.

And he was right, Russia marched into Ukraine in 2014 and the US (Obama) did f**k all. That wasn't even the main thrust of his argument, it was about the lack of trust in Putin.

As for saying thanks - Zelenskyy has done nothing but say thanks to the US these past 3 years.

I think Trump was always going to f**k Ukraine over so it's better it's out in the open again. Europe was probably given false hope again after Starmer's visit yesterday.
