We are so lucky in Roscommon to have such a dynamic bunch of people in club Rossie who are willing to give their time and expertese in the interests of our gaa teams.
Since our financial blip several years ago they have built year on year and now find we are in a very good financial position with the prospect of a major windfall from this latest venture.
We are also lucky to have men like Mulryan and Hunt as sponsers.

If this is as successful as the draw last year it'll be another huge boon for Roscommon GAA.
Full credit to the people involved in the organisation of this and the sponsors, fair play all round.

Fair play,  something fresh and not just going with the flow.

100000 is a lot of tickets to sell, your nearly getting into lotto numbers there. originaly the €100 tickets were for €100,000 prizes.
is it time to test t#he waters  €150 or €200 to keep number of tickets reasonable

That's the maximum amount of tickets. What is the minimum 20k at a guess?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

that would be  2 million in sales maybe clear a million after prizes and advertising .
West port  seem to have spent a fortune and it seem to have been going on all year not sure if they are near their target  of 10k tickets . for house worth half as much. odds seem almost attractive .
mind you would any one back a horse for €100 @ 10000-1  you'd need some interest in the cause

Meath gaa have being raffling 3 houses off. Tickets limited to 12000 per draw. To date the first 2 draws have been put back, presumably due to lack of sales.

The perception is, the meath county board thought they would sell themselves and put little or no effort into promoting the draws. I'm living in navan at present and can honestly say, bar a few posters up in pubs etc you wouldn't know such a draw was on.
