It hasn't been commeted on because the British government is giving millions on a new stadium already, why give more to failing clubs that can't or wont't look after their own in house agendas?

"You must be a British citizen or resident to sign the petition."

Guess that's us out then. Some people just don't want to be helped...

If you were a British resident, what interest would you have in the Irish league, which isn't in Britain? Its clearly not really about helping clubs, but rather scoring political points.

Oh dear oh dear. You pair of absolute fecking clowns (armaghniac, you can also count yourself in here). Bringing MOPEry to idiotic new levels there.

Since you're obviously a bit slow on the uptake, the clue's in the website (look at the fecking address, FFS!). Citizens can set up petitions on the Prime Minister's website (another one of Number Ten's recent big ideas for connecting with the people) - the stiuplation being set by the PM's office that only British citizens or residents can sign.

So while you're bursting to thcweam and thcweam "discrimination" until you're sick and point the finger at themmuns, nasty bigots that they are, maybe you might want instead to take the matter up with Mr Blair if you don't like how these petitions operate.

Oh and for all three have acted ignorant, I'm sure you know as well as I do that the reference to British citizens and resdents is synonymous with UK citizens and residents ::)

Jesus wept...

Aye, good one.

You're the one that's made an idiot of himself (well, you, plus Donagh and armaghniac).

Tell you what, old son. Rather than instinctively jumping to be offended and to point the finger at themmuns, why not take 5 seconds to actually stop and think.

And that advice could be applied to thousands of others in this society...

I could think one way of improving all Irish League grounds but in this age of peace Semtex isn't the answer.

maybe they should be petitioning the IFA who have just secured 2.5 million a year from Sky, then they wouldnt have to beg Gordon for money or Maybe Big G could use some of that green tax he has been collecting?

most of those teams could fulfil their seating requirements at DFS.
