Anyone doing their own VAT return themselves do the switch over yet. What is the best app to use or do you need to use a laptop. What does it all entail.Any info appreciated.
I downloaded one of the free software choices listed on the gov MTD page. I think it's called Easy MTD. It was all straightforward but I'm an accountant. Im using the bridging software and continuing to record everything on spreadsheet but that's really only an option for a very small business.
Xero, Quickbooks fairly straight forward to use
