Quote from: God14 on February 01, 2024, 11:56:54 AMCormac Quinn didnt play last night Sigerson - id guess he is out for Sunday after coming off injured against the Rossies. If Kilpatrick doesnt get the suspension overturned in time, we are already looking at two enforced changes to an already inexperienced starting 15

Any word on Joe Oguz? I didnt see him on the sidelines last Sunday.

Any word on King Conn's appeal?

He's unavailable

If Glass & Ethan Doc are available going forward, they could possibly turn the tables on UCD

Both Academy midfielders were excellent - Hughes was a prominent threat, reliable from frees, but i thought their No. 9 was even better. Cant mind his name now. Lost count of how many clean kick outs he won, always an outlet on the Academy kickouts. Liam McGeary showed very well too in the SPAD attack
Agree on Noah Grimes, fantastic prospect. One to watch with Tyrone U20s this year

It was a really enjoyable semi final - especially when you consider that not that long ago, both these sets of players would have in all likelihood have been playing for the Academy. If Omagh CBS do indeed lift this years McRory cup, the emergence of Donaghmore convent taking boys in has cost the Academy a McRory.

O'Rourke insisted those players take a break before commencing the club season. For example Glass had over a month off. Practically the month of August - he didnt train at all. These lads dont drink the way the previous generation would have, they will be rearing to go
The fact its a Saturday game complicates it a little, Derry will be travelling down on Friday. Had it been a home game on the Sunday, you could be sure they would be available

Enda, R Daly  Ultan, Hussey, Heneghan, O'Rourke, B Stack  Fallon, Dolan, O'Carroll, Cunnane, Nolan(?)

Didn't you hammer Galway without them all missing? Few of the St Brigid boys could be available too. Should be an away win against a struggling Tyrone missing even more players.

It was a development Galway team. First choice Galway 26 was off playing outdoor challenges as Joyce and his management didn't see air dome games as decent prep for the league.

Enda Smith said after the match on TG4 last Friday that he didn't expect Brigids players to return until round 3.  A lot of the list Rossfan posted would be first choice Roscommon players and they already have to deal without Conor Daly, Ciaran Murtagh,Cian McKeon gone traveling all three was championship starters last summer.

Can you list who Tyrone are missing? I would expect this to be the year that a lot of Tyrones 2022 U20 All-Ireland winners to become established seniors.

Difficult to articulate who all is missing for Tyrone as management point blank refuse to answer any questions in relation to this

However the following are definitely confirmed out: McCurry, McGeary, Meyler, McShane, Mattie Donnelly.

The following havnt played any games yet, presumed injured: Burns, Oguz, McGleenan & M O'Neill

3 Retiree's from last season also, McNamee, Richie Donnelly & Sludden

2nd weekend of dry January complete (1st weekend was easy, this weekend wasn't easy..temptations were there Saturday) Feel far better for it this morning, up this morning for a 5k walk before work. Haven't been weighing myself but feel like a few pounds off.

Should feel it in the waist of your trousers, I never weigh, it should be how you fit into your clothes, or how you feel when you wake and your skin complexion. There are so many ways to gauge a better diet and no drink!

I'm on wet January and loving it lol!

Too many things in Jan for me to go off it, but happy with not drinking during the week, trying to change my diet to more veg and possibly plant based meals

Wife watched this thing on Netflix, You are what you eat the twin experiment. All the stuff you know but changing those habits is the difficulty

Yeah I notice it in the waist first, and the work shirts don't cling to the gut as much.

That's why I attempted dry Jan, because I haven't one event in January..so thought it was possible. Loads coming up Feb & March..so a break would be good.

Dry January still going strong for me. The pangs for beer were not half as strong as the previous two weekends. Not sure if ive lost weight, ive replaced lager & stout with other snacks and stuff
But more than happy, as i would class myself as a problem drinker

They did. They put us away fairly comprehensively in the league last year as well.
