This is a very long shot but...

I'm in Chicago and was wondering if anyone would have any idea if I would be able to listen over the net or somewhere to the Armagh club championship match between Dromintee and Crossmaglen on Sunday? Failing that where would be the best net coverage I could get? In desparation here!

You are out of luck unless you can change the (IPS  ?) on the computer reads NI or Ireland

Thats not a bad idea, i'll have to consider the cost first. the game has been moved until 31st now anyway so ive a bit of time to prepare.

very slim chance the match might be on fivefm.co.uk - you might Damian McCullouch on the microphone, he's brutal, but better than nothin - otherwise get onto Skype and phone someone at the match - I'd say it'd be around $15 for the match....

SATURDAY 20 DECEMBER
11:30am Volvo Ocean Race
Latest highlights from the 2008/09 Volvo Ocean Race with all the news from the 3rd leg which takes the boats from Kochi in India to Singapore, a distance of 1,950 nautical miles. This race is quite simply the ''Everest of Sailing'' with the eight competing teams and boats sailing across 37,000 nautical miles of the globe''s most treacherous seas. The event will visit 11 ports around the world, including Galway which the boats will reach in May next year. The fleet are having to negotiate the southern tip of both India and Sri Lanka as the routeing chart shows the north-east Trade Winds just about blowing down to the great circle route from Sri Lanka to the Malacca Straits and on to Singapore.


SUNDAY 21 DECEMBER
4:00pm Cluiche na Bliana: Corn Fitzgibbon
Another chance to see this year''s fantastic Fitzgibbon Cup Final between Waterford IT and Limerick IT. In a classic high scoring epic played at Cork IT, Limerick IT looked in the mood to retain their title with star man Joe Canning in great form and scoring 1-16. But Eoin Reid's 88th minute extra-time goal made all the difference as Waterford IT skipped to a memorable 1-29 to 1-24. Reid, who grabbed 1-5 from play, goaled with two minutes left to play to make it eight Fitzgibbon Cup triumphs for Waterford IT. Commentary by Brian Tyers.

MONDAY 22 DECEMBER
8:00pm Aonach Tailteann
This documentary tells the forgotten story of the Tailteann Games – a massive sporting and cultural festival first staged in 1924 by the Irish Free State to announce to the world the birth of Irish independence. Inspired by the ancient Aonach Tailteann festival of pre-Christian Ireland, the modern games were billed as '' the Irish Olympics'', and on three occasions between 1924 and 1932 attracted thousands of athletes from across the Irish emigrant world to Dublin to a mass celebration of Irish culture and sport.

WEDNESDAY 24 DECEMBER
3:05pm Cluiche Ceannais Iomána 2008
Kilkenny v Waterford in this years All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final from Croke Park. Three-in-a-row All-Ireland Senior titles for the Cats after Brian Cody's men captured Liam McCarthy for the 31st time, thanks to an emphatic 23-point victory over Waterford. 82,186 watched on as a fired up Kilkenny team sealed the tag of the best hurling team this decade with a well oiled performance from defence to attack. A brace of first half goals from right-corner forward Eddie Brennan set the tone for a Cats victory, with the 29-year old slicing through for two-goals in the 21st minute, to leave 12 points between the sides. Brian Cody's troops gave the display of their lives to reward their manager with his sixth All-Ireland title since taking over the Cats in 1999. Commentary by Garry Mac Donncha and Pat Fleury.


THURSDAY 25 DECEMBER
7:00pm GAA 2008: Cúil na Bliana
The top fifteen goals in 2008 as voted for by you, the public, in both hurling and football. From early November the public have had the opportunity to view fifteen goals in both hurling and football, scored in various competitions this year and to vote for their selections. This programme will reveal the national one to fifteen of goals, good goals, and great goals!

10:50pm All-Ireland Gold
Tipperary v Wexford in the 1968 All-Ireland Hurling Final. The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final of 1968 was the 82nd edition of this historic competition. The match was contested by Wexford and Munster champions Tipperary with an attendance of 63,461 in GAA headquarters - with Wexford taking the title by 5-8 to 3-12. It was Wexford's fifth All-Ireland title ever and their fourth meeting with Tipperary in the final since 1960.


FRIDAY 26 DECEMBER
10:30am Tóstal na mBád
This is a documentary about three young men who won the Tóstal in currachs in 1955 when they were just 18 years of age. They were competing against teams from all over the country, including the Seoighe family from Inis Bearachain. They tell us their story 52 years later.

3:15pm Cluiche Ceannais Peile 2008
Tyrone v Kerry in this years All-Ireland Senior Football Final from Croke Park. A wonderful GAA All-Ireland football championship season reached a great climax when a crowd of 82,204 saw Tyrone win the Sam Maguire at Croke Park. Their four-point win over Kerry brought them their third crown in the space of six seasons, a great achievement for Mickey Harte and his squad. Captained by Brian Dooher they won by 1-15 to 0-14 after trailing by a point at half-time. However, Tommy McGuigan's goal just after the re-start provided Tyrone with a crucial boost. Commentary by Garry Mac Donncha and Finín Mac a''Bháird.

7:30pm Micheál O'Hehir
The life and legacy of the pioneering Irish sports broadcaster, "the voice of the GAA" throughout his 50 year career with RTÉ. Micheál O'Hehir went on to become a major figure in the television era also. This new programme combines archive of many of his finest commentaries as well as tributes from colleagues and friends.


SATURDAY 27 DECEMBER
10:30am Volvo Ocean Race

3:30pm Cluiche na Bliana: Corcaigh v Gaillimh
Cork v Galway in this year''s classic All-Ireland Senior Hurling Qualifier from Semple Stadium, Thurles in mid-July. Fourteen-man Cork defied the odds to earn a place in the All-Ireland quarter-final following a titanic battle against Galway in a game that had everything from start to finish. This was quite an amazing performance from the Rebels, especially in the second half after Donal Og Cusack had been dismissed just before the break when he received his second yellow card. The scoring feat of Joe Canning was another major talking point as the youngster hit 2-12, 1-6 of which was from play, while at the other end Ben O'Connor was in outstanding form hitting an impressive 0-12. The final score of Cork 0-23 Galway 2-15 had irish sports fans talking for weeks!


SUNDAY 28 DECEMBER
3:25pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008 - Ciarraí v Gaillimh
Kerry v Galway in this year''s All-Ireland Senior Football Quarter-final from Croke Park in August. Kerry's three-in-a-row bid remained on track following a battling 1-21 to 1-16 defeat of Galway in a magnificent All-Ireland quarter-final at GAA headquarters. Both sides produced an exhibition of shooting to light up Croke Park with some of the best championship football seen here in many years. The floodlights had to be switched on at half time as the venue was engulfed by darkness during the course of a first-half monsoon, but nobody was leaving as the quality of fare on offer was simply supreme.


MONDAY 29 DECEMBER
2:55pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008 - Iomáint F-21
Kilkenny v Tipperary in this year''s All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Final from Croke Park. This four-point victory against Tipperary meant Kilkenny had a clean sweep of All-Ireland Hurling titles in 2008 with a final scoreline of Kilkenny 2-13 to Tipperary''s 0-15. GAA President Nickey Brennan was again handing over silverware to a fellow county-man - this time James Dowling of St. Martin's - as the Cats captured their fifth title in this grade, and a first since 2006. Commentary by Brian Tyers.


TUESDAY 30 DECEMBER
3:25pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008 - Peil F-21
Kerry v Kildare in this years All-Ireland Under-21 Football Final. Kerry Under-21's secured a 70th All-Ireland football title across all grades for the Kingdom at Semple Stadium, Thurles with goals from Mike O'Donoghue in each half the decisive scores against Kildare. Nothing could deny Sean Geaney's charges of their first Under-21 Football crown in a decade, following a power-packed second half, which saw Kerry firing on all cylinders. Commentary by Brian Tyers.


WEDNESDAY 31 DECEMBER
3:00pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008 - Iomáint na gClub
Portumna v Birr in this years All-Ireland Club Hurling Final on St. Patricks Day. Portumna claimed the title with a stunning 3-19 to 3-9 victory over Birr in the decider at Croke Park with Ollie Canning having the honour of lifting the Tommy Moore Cup. Despite conceding two goals inside the first ten minutes, the winners eventually got into their stride to lead by 1-11 to 2-4 at the break and the match saw great displays by players such as Joe Canning, Simon Whelehan, Ollie Canning, Damien Hayes, Andrew Smith, Rory Hanniffy and Brian Whelehan. Commentary by Mac Dara Mac Donncha.

3:15pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008: Peil na gClub
St Vincent's v Nemo Rangers in the All-Ireland Club Football Final on St. Patricks Day. St Vincent's were crowned champions and lifted the Andy Merrigan Cup by virtue of a thrilling 1-11 to 0-13 victory over Nemo Rangers in the final at Croke Park. Thomas Quinn registered seven points for the champions, who built a six-point lead with wind assistance in the first half and weathered a Nemo storm in the closing quarter. Commentary by Brian Tyers.


FRIDAY 2 JANUARY 2009
1:25pm An Díog is Faide
The true story of Irish Steeplechase runner Sonnie Murphy, whose village raised the funds against all odds to send him to the Los Angeles Olympics games of 1932. When the record weather conditions caused him to fall ill from heat exhaustion, he must decide to quit the honour the responsibility and trust placed in him by his community.

4:00pm Cluiche na Bliana 2008: Peil na mBan
Cork v Monaghan in the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Final from Croke Park. Cork captured a fourth successive TG4 All-Ireland ladies football championship crown as Ulster champions Monaghan were put to the sword at Croke Park. Goal machine Valerie Mulcahy, sent off in the semi-final victory over Tyrone but cleared to play in the decider, bagged 3-2 as the Rebelettes defeated Monaghan by 14 points. At half-time, just three points separated the sides, Cork leading by 1-8 to 0-8, but the magnificent Leesiders turned up the heat in the second half to ensure a senior ladies football-camogie double in 2008.
