Our expectations of Rory are way too high.

The ability not to send texts or whatsapp messages to the wrong person is fine attribute.

I hope Rory isn't starting to write his winners speech. It's only Friday morning.

Well the first round losers have plenty of time to lick their wounds before the first qualifier match and then it's make or break.

Dates for qualifier rounds:

9th june (1st round)
23rd June (2nd round)
30 June  (3rd round)
7th July (4th round)

When will the draw be made?

I thought your starting point would be the local council and InvestNI.

Good luck.

Time to roll out this again, and at least I replaced Yugoslavia with Croatia but I'm so lazy I haven't even checked if they qualified.

Two dogs in a bar.

Dog 1: "I heard a great joke today"

Dog 2: "Let's hear it then"

Dog 1: "Knock knock”

Dog 2: “Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!”

The most depressing thing that I seen on television in many years was yesterday's clip from the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee grilling the minister of state for immigration.

Among the big hitters were Kate Hoey, Gregory Campbell and Ian Paisley, giving the minister grief about british and irish passports and then about custom signs on the border.

That is ridiculous. There should be a limit on vice captains. And it should be 1.

General discussion / Re: RTE to show live coverage of Royal Wedding

This is a huge day for Ulster Roman Catholicism.

If I've learned anything in my thirtysomething years on this earth, it's that nordie taigs love two things above all - Manchester United FC and the Royal Family.

We fear for the rest of your education then.

Sometime in the 70s there was a Royal wedding in the middle of the week and the loyal schools were all off. The Abbey had no truck with that kind of thing and was business as usual. But the fecking bus in Cross' wouldn't start. We pushed it back and forth on the Square and then down the hill where it ended up immobile outside Joe Kernan's present house. No way was it going to start. Going home wasn't an option, so we had to thumb to Newry where the teacher had a good laugh that he thought the two Cross lads had taken the day off for the nuptials.

Very funny story. You must be great craic talking shite in the pub

Okay, let's hear your entry for the Pulitzer Prize.

Then I
will decide
as to whether to
take you seriously.

(anyone like acrostics?)

Interesting that the English were over again inspecting the border. Did they follow protocol? One mistake is forgivable. Twice is an insult.

Also interesting is that the English bypass the DUP.

Best side won. All over the field.

Clearly, and it sweetened the bitter taste of Saturday evening, lol.

If Armagh had converted half of their wide tally then they could have won. We could’ve achieved that easily with Oisin O’Neill or Jamie Clarke on the pitch, picking off balls laid off by Murnin.
