If you are interested in what the level of football is like in Europe then have a look at this video of the 2015 French Intermediate Championship Final between Clermont and Lorient. The video contains the full match and is just over 30 mins long but you get to see lots of scores even in the first 6 mins!

Not bad standard at all, the yellow team looked fairly handy in the five minutes I watched it.

How many of the players were French or non-irish ?
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not too sure.

The Clermont team had 2 Irish players including myself. The Lorient team is all French as far as I know.

Sorry about that. There was quite a bit of cursing in the background and I wanted to drown it out! It's hard to find decent music that won't get flagged for copyright on Youtube! I could have cut the sound out each time but it would have taken me a week! :P
