Maybe they done it so people can try walking a day in their shoes? Deep thinkers
Quote from: tbrick18 on November 24, 2023, 02:39:36 PMPanorama last night about the missing children in Ukraine.
Seems to be a concerted effort by Russia at the highest level to "re-locate" children from Ukraine into Russia. Difficult to understand the motive behind that.

Also some of the propaganda on Russian media about the Ukrainian state selling children's organs into Europe was just bonkers.

Really heart-breaking stuff in general....albeit a completely 1 sided view of the story, however, it's difficult to see any justification for any of what was covered.
The motive is clear, it's a standard play in ethnic cleansing

A vile disgusting  human being. We're seeing a lot of those lately with  their  support for  Israel.
It's a very interesting time to be Irish when you see what is happening in UK politics with the 2 big parties outdoing themselves to service Israel. Ireland was one of 4 countries that prevented the EU from cutting humanitarian aid to the Palestinians. History really matters in situations like now.
Do you have a source for that Seafoid? Im surpirsed we aren't getting any flack for that.

Quote from: AustinPowers on October 11, 2023, 11:44:18 PMTwo Israeli flags removed from town halls in Yorkshire  in recent days.

Is this  happening throughout Britain or what? The election of Israel flags on government buildings I mean , not the taking down
The UK government has written a letter encouraging governing bodies in sport to "appropriately" mark the attacks in Israel this week with shows of support for the victims.
This is turning in to a major gas lighting operation for the UK government.

Strange, doesn't chime with a lot of posts on here.

Did you read the part of the article where they don't use that language but they have guests on that can use it, it just not their voice. There are worst media outlets for sure.

You'd prefer censorship then?
It's a valid point MR,and one that everyone should be aware of. There is no doubt about it that the way BBC presents their articles is to favour the state position. Anyone from here should be able to see that easily. There is always plenty of examples relating to the past here.
I read on BBC news yesterday "hundreds killed in Gaza in air strikes after 600 killed in Israel in murderous rampage by Hamas". Now in this instance they have said killed, but you can see the framing in that. Is hundreds killed in air strikes not a murderous rampage as well?

Out of interest why would that be?
Mourinho brought a few from Porto to Chelsea that all worked out well. Alos did Pep not bring Thiago to Bayern, or was he already there?

Hopefully that's the last we see of Sancho. Another stupid Ole signing.

In fairness to Ole, Sancho looked an excellent prospect then.

First time I seen sancho play was in  the  last Euros .  I was expecting  a lot , and although  he didn't get huge game  time then  , I was thinking... is that it? Two years later, and he  still hasn't done anything  of note.

A hugely disappointing  signing. Then again, most  of United 's signings are  hugely disappointing these  days
I think the issue is United. Sancho was a huge talent. Lets see how Hojlund goes now. All these signings that were performing really well before going to United couldnt all be turning to dung overnight.

If the PSNI had interrupted a memorial to the Shankill bomb would the DUP have waited until now to call for the Chief Constable's head?

Can a new Chief Constable be appointed while the DUP have closed Stormont?

At the minute no, needs stormont to rubber stamp a new CC
Could this be a plan by the DUP to engineer a reason for them to get stormont up and running again? Ie whip up a frenzy "ah sure we had to get back at it in order to get rid of the IRA supporting cheif constable"?
