Fair play Everton. £75 million for Lukaku. Well played.
Right up there with Liverpool getting  £50million for Torres when he was finished as a footballer.

lukaku is only 24

and has a great scoring record in the PL and Europa league

SHEEDY

75million plus add ons is a great deal for a player who doesnt want to play for the club. Lukaku was a great goalscorer but he always thought he was bigger than the club. Time to move on and get more players in who want to play for us.

This the same lad who spent last season fighting with Martin O'Neill like a spoilt child?

koeman was completely correct
if the club medical staff say a player is injured, then he's injured

No, he's just injured in their opinion.

Interesting how medical staffs with a vested interest in one opinion seem to lean towards that one, huh?

The truth lies in the middle, as always..

once a blue, always a blue.....

as for lukaku leaving.. never has a great goalscorer leaving been met with such indifference by the fans. never really 'got' the club and always seemed to trying to engineer a move away.

Hope Rooney does well at Everton. As for Lukaku, he probably knew he was always going to move to a massive club and always had that in the back of his mind. Let's see if he can live up to it now. I think he will.

if the club medical staff say a player is injured, then he's injured
A player who is called up for intl duty and is allegedly injured, is mandated to turn up and allow himself to be inspected by the intl team doctor. The intl team doctor has the final say on the fitness of the player. The club's medical staff have no say inside this 5 day window, unless consulted.
The reason for this is that clubs have tried to pull too many fast ones in the past. Trap demanded all players turn up for inspection regardless of what was faxed through to him.

Denn Forever

Don't know if this  reason works but apparent Rooney coming  back to everton makes financial sence.  Even before shirt sales.

Wayne Rooney is costing Everton £16.64 million in wages plus two £4 million bonus payments - £24.64 million for two seasons. Plus the £10 million that he has knocked off Lukaku's price. That takes him up to £34.64 million which is still £360k cheaper than Andy Carroll so in Merseyside transfer terms a bargain.
