There were a number of live games streamed on youtube during the Sigerson but the actual semi-final today is only available on delayed coverage. Seems bizarre. Is it because it clashes with the club semi-finals?

The clash it think alright but i don't know why this semi final wasn't moved to Sunday like the other one?

Because UCD for player welfare reasons decided not to force Liam Silke to play twice in 24 hours.
It's quite a stance as he's been outstanding for them in Sigerson this year.

Didn't know that. Yes Silke was one of their stand out players and probably one of Corofins best players today also.

UCD could field 2 teams so Silkes absence could be interpreted as we will win easy against the St Marys workhorses.

Great result for St Mary's and a particular congratulations to Gavin McGilly that's two Sigerson finals and an All Ireland Intermediate club final in 24 months or so. Had the pleasure of watching an All Ireland final with him a few years ago. His insight into the game at that time was fantastic. Just hope his expertise doesn't come back to haunt Armagh in the championship.

Cant see st Mary's having any ineligible  players in their squad .
They couldnt afford the packages on offer unlike others in the competition. Sounds like  sour grapes

UCD now unlikely to object. St Mary's have stated it was a clerical error.

I think this could be a game too far for St Mary's but hope I'm wrong. Unbelievable achievement for them to get to 2 Sigerson Finals in 3 years
