Ciaran Downes was excellent for Ul aswell. Him and Emmet Cleary both of Clare in the Ul forwards.

Emmett McMahon.6 Clare lads featured tonight. Aaron Griffin and Ikem Ugwueru also in the forwards. Daniel Walsh wing back. Brian McNamara came off the bench.

Emmet McMahon is right. A good player. Clare have some tidy forwards. Eoin Cleary played for UL a few years ago

Emmett should be a key player for Clare in coming years. Not sure if Eoin in UL. He in guards now. His twin brother Conor definitely went to UL.

I see Oisin Gallen knocked over a few points for DCU.

By some miracle, will he fit to line out for Donegal this spring?

Poor lad has had a nightmare few years with injuries and has never had the chance to establish himself at senior level after a very promising initial season in 2019.

Eoin was in LIT , but left after first year to join AGS. Conor won Fitzgibbon with UL, when doing masters. Hurled with NUIG for undergrad.

So the Sigerson cup final is between two Munster colleges and the final will be in Munster (Waterford)
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

1-12 to 0-15 extra time to be played. Plenty of twists and turns in that match. Looked like UCC had in won after 37 minutes when 5 points in front and again late on but UL never gave up and grabbed the draw deep into injury time.

UCC should win this. Have the better forwards. UCC bit dodgy on the restarts.

Yeah the UCC restarts were really bad there for the stretch that allowed UL back into it.

Decent game in tricky conditions.

Captain Obvious

UL running on empty after getting themselves twice back into the game in normal time.

FT UCC 1-16 UL 0-16.  Congrats to UCC thats yet another Sigerson cup and trophy won by Billy Morgan in his long management career.
