I just had an image of Aidan O'Shea clean through on goal about to score the winner with the last kick of the game in the final against Kerry, only for a pigeon to shit in his eyes, causing him to run face first into the post.

If Carlsberg did dreams for Rossies :)

A few years ago I got my eyes tested and heard "huh". He told me I had glacoma and was surprised I wasn't blind. I was referred to Derry and it was nothing.

Do moderators do the same eye exam as referees?

No. That's a nictitating membrane. Some species of fish, birds and mammals as well I think have. like a second translucent eyelid or membrane that protects the eyes of predators that don t want to be blinded by their prey. Some evolutionary development in fairness. I suspect snakes and lizards have it too.

Not me!

I have mostly admiration about how Tyrone have done their stuff. Said that here many's the time.

I hope these pigeons aren't around on hurling final day, otherwise it will be... the Cats among the pigeons.

I'll get me coat.
