GAA members wanted for new RTE Gameshow

Vision Independent Productions are currently making a new entertainment show for RTE television and are hoping to get GAA clubs all around the world involved.

The show will be an interactive gameshow that will use Skype technology, so people can take part from anywhere in the world. The idea behind the show is that people will be connected to the studio via Skype, and can win themselves 1,000 euro by answering a general knowledge question and completing one challenge.

The show will be filmed towards the end of September and will air on Sunday nights on RTE 1 in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

We are hoping to have some rounds in the show themed, and would love to have some GAA rounds where contestants in their county and club colours take part.

We are hoping that as many members get involved with the show and think that having GAA people oversees taking part would be an extremely strong and emotive part of the show, as well as give people the chance to say hello to their families and friends in Ireland.

The only thing you need to be on the show is broadband internet and access to a web cam with software like skype. If members don't have skype but would like to take part, they can either contact the Vision Independent Productions Office on +353 1 861 4444, where a member of the team can talk them through the free process of downloading and using it.
