100,000 new Instagram followers in a week apparently.

Their top 5 songs have been listened to 2.4million times in a week.

Fair play to them, raising awareness and using their platform when many others aren't.

Thought the film was a good watch at the time too & their concert was brilliant in December. They sold out Bocher road (40,000 in 45mins) Some going.

Heard that as well. Looks like he's out of Wednesdays game.

Back injury.

Seems to be a few injuries for the U20s the past few weeks!
He's named in the squad for tomorrow to start.... Sargent named as well on the bench. Is this a he's still part of the team carry-on?

Saw that there now. Good news if it turns out to be true. Seems strange to name Sargent on the bench.

He was named to start vs Cavan too, and didn't. C'mon lads, we know that naming a team nowadays means nothing.

Quote from: Brendan on April 16, 2025, 12:42:11 PMHalf the reserve league postponed tonight due to referee shortage  :-X

There are no Intermediate Reserve games fixed for this evening, or Junior games.

Is the shortage that bad that a set of Div 1 and Div 2 senior games is the full allocation of referee's
The referees also officiate at LGFA and Camogie games, so can see how they could be squeezed on particular days.

Have any Refs dropped off because of the new rules?

Quote from: Topmarks on April 03, 2025, 12:57:55 PMHoping C Spiers is still in the u20 panel. He is a very good prospect, got minutes in the game against Armagh and I think is needed for the bigger games down the line.

He's not

Quote from: YoungSaff on April 01, 2025, 11:02:33 AMMaybe I'm just old school boys but if that was one of my lads getting pushed like that I would have told him to do the exact same thing. Maybe the coaching isn't for me !

Agree. And if my son was the goalkeeper I'd be happy enough he got a life lesson. Don't act a dick, there can be consequences, and a slap in the mouth was the consequence this time.

Quote from: Estimator on March 26, 2025, 08:20:20 AMIrish News reporting this morning that Rogers will miss the Donegal game. So there's another gap that needs filled.

It's behind a paywall, what does it say about Murray & Loughlin?

McFaul played the 1st day out Vs Tyrone & played 70mins vs Galway and hasn't been since. What's his injury?

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on March 25, 2025, 10:17:18 AMHow long outta a broken hand. 6 weeks? The way we shipping goals u need Rodgers at full bck, who i worry going to be off the pace after a ankle injury, anyway. So who goes to Midfield. Probably should be Higgins but he's only played a couple of games. McFaul the other option been out injured ages.

You'd imagine 6-8 weeks with no complications. As much as more injuries aren't ideal, Tohill's injury is not a disaster by any means.
What's McFaul's injury? When did he last play? Will he be available vs Donegal?
Will Rodgers be OK to play vs Donegal?
Lynch is ages away apparently? Any update on the severity of his injury?
What's Lachlan Murrays injury?
Paudi McGrogan still not up to full tilt, could be a bit away from that as with ACL injuries.
Cormac Murphy has made the last couple of benches, but hasn't got many minutes.
McCluskey got another operation last week, season over.
McKinless ACL season over.
Donnacha Gilmore, confirmed season over?

Would love to see a senior panel named for the championship, the same was the u20 panel was named.

Trent a goner.

Salah & VVD...surely Liverpool won't let that happen?

Any confirmation if Rogers & McFaul will be fit for 2 weeks time v Donegal?

Goalkeeper is a serious worry, McKinless isn't good enough for county level & it's been proven before, however he's the only goalkeeper on the panel at the minute. Baffled me last week some people on here were calling him a 'class' keeper.

Hard to know what way to structure the defence. Put Rogers to full back, play him chb, play him mf...it's a bad position to be, 2 weeks out from championship when you've no idea where key men are going to be playing. Paudi McGrogan was always going to take a bit of time to hit his best form also, it may not be this county season where he hit's those levels.

Our Defence is really struggling, man for man performances haven't been good enough and systematically we look easy to break down. Armaghs 6 forwards yesterday scored 3-14 from play (3-16 total) With the spread coming from everywhere -
D McMullan (1-01),   R Grugan (0-03, 1tp), CTurbitt (1-04, 1f),
S Campbell (0-04 ),  A Murnin (0-02),      R McQuillan (1-02).

Attack has been our worry the past few seasons, now it looks like both ends of the pitch is a problem. If we don't get key men back it'll be a short season. Too many of our key men are unavailable and the issue is Lynch, McKinless, McCluskey won't be back this season & that alone is probably enough to derail a season.

Fair play for putting that together Jimmy.

Lots of names will miss championship from the panel last year.

Odhran Lynch
Ryan Sculluion
Chrissy McKaigue
Conor McCluskey
Gareth McKinless
Shea Downey
Donnacha Gilmore
Emmett Bradley
Eunan Mulholland

Thats 9 players that would definitely have made the match day panels of 26.

Then add in Brendan Rodgers missed 2/7 league games, Ciaran McFaul has barley played due to injury, Cormac Murphy has barely played due to injury. Niall O'Donnell is also out for the year after a brilliant club season and would have been ready to kick on. Lachlan Murray has missed games .Paudi McGrogan and Niall Loughlin missed most of the league after coming back from surgery.

Players like Jack Doherty & Callum McGrogan were brought in, and have since dropped off.

Jesus it's been a messy season, personnel wise, when you see it laid out like that.

If Donegal beat us, what is the time frame between that and our next game? I think that's the rout we'll go, and we'll need as many men back as possible to salvage the season from there. And that's with the fingers crossed that we don't pick up any additional injuries between now & then.
