Was Ardboe asked to play in Omagh?
Unconquered and unconquerable

Anyone know will the Junior final be streamed on Sunday?

Think Beragh might take it but should be close - who would be favourites for this?

Real 50/50 game but Beragh might be very slight favourites based on league performances. Although Newton's Mayse may not have played much league football or even the semi final?

Terrible throw in time for a championship final. Not much consideration for young families

+1 Poor decision, seems like an after thought, a case of we'll just slot you in here sure

Big Finbar was fair giving out this evening in Sallys about it.

Reading the Herald Beragh have transferred in a player called Seamus Grant from Mayobridge seems to be playing CHB for them. Anyone know much about him? I think he may have a couple of senior cship medals with Mayobridge?

ardtole

Seamus Grant would have captained down minors, very good player. Would have been expected to play senior inter county.

Is he the same vintage as Benny Coulter or was that a brother?

ardtole

His older brother Brendan would be the same age as Benny Coulter, and would have won an all Ireland minor and played full back for down at senior level.

ardtole

Seamus might have played in the same minor team as Marty Clarke, that won an all Ireland I'm not sure. But he was definitely playing the following year and I'm fairly sure he was captain.

Original fixture plan had Senior/intermediate Semi-finals on Friday night & Saturday.

Ardboe have no doubt refused to play in Omagh and the CCC have bent over for them
A Friday night match would have been giving Killyclogher or Coalisland only q 5 day turnaround.

Pomeroy only got 4 days before last years semi final.

Same last year for Trillick. The CCC would have been aware of the 5 day turnaround at the time of releasing the fixtures plan. So why did it all change?

Just about to head out to the game in dungannon.  Really looking forward to it and hoping we can get to a county final after the obituaries That were written about the team after the start to the league.  And no better team to beat than those knee benders up the road.

One thing I will give them however is they have taken a very  special wee man to their hearts wee tony k and allowing him to carry the water like he did for us for years.  I'd encourage everyone to give him alot of support during half time for the tireless effort he'll put in.

Good man tony!

Coalisland got out of jail today. Edendork looked dthe better side for long periods and unlucky not to get anything from that game. A couple of big calls in the last 15 minute didn't go thier way.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

southtyronegael

some win for augher today too! thebigdog will be a happy man tonight.lol

We absolutely got out of jail today but it was the ultimate banana skin after the big wins over the last two weekends.  Thankfully in this instance you can count on the Stoop Down Low Players to bend the knee when it comes to the heat of battle.
