GAA Discussion / Re: Division 2 2023

Lots of mistakes on both sides. Derry going for goals when they should just be taking their points.

What I saw of it they had plenty of possession but they did nothing with it. There were so many times they got into the Omagh half only to be easily dispossessed. They weren't even kicking wides most of the time. Never saw so many unforced errors.

Doherty and Glass are starting against Limerick tomorrow so they're not waiting for any replay.

Who you calling a muppet? Catch yerself on.

Watch yourself Weasel, your man is the biggest slabber on this thing but you daren't say a word or you get reported.

What's 49 posts got to do with anything? The poster has been on here for six months which is long enough to form an opinion about such things.

Would like to see Glen win but the Galway lads wont be pushed around, should be another tight affair

I've been told by a reputable source that this interview never took place. How can reporters be allowed to make stuff like this up?

I was at a wedding in Belfast last week where the only people older than me were the bride and groom's parents.

Anyone come across this recent craze where kids (young adults) say 'Oh my god So and So has just died'? Very disturbing even though they don't keep it up for long.

Corduff 0-05 Galbally Pearses 1-09 it finished. Play Dunmore Galway next i believe.
Saw something in the paper yesterday where they were bigging up Corduff due to their previous experience but I thought Galbally would prevail anyway.

Reading this thread you'd think Kilcoo are the first team to sail close to the wind regarding challenges and verbals. All successful teams, club or county have players that play on the edge, you win nothing by being nice guys.

Tyrone, Armagh, Crossmaglen had plenty of players who could mix it, loved by their own, hated by everyone else. Kilcoo and Glen and every other successful club team have plenty of players who are experts in the dark arts, reading this you'd get the impression it's a new thing we're witnessing.

Maybe it's my Derry tinted glasses but I thought Kilcoo were far more trampish in this game than Glen. As far as I can see if Glen are playing a team who want to play football they'll try to play football too.

That Yorkshire pudding dish is heaven on a plate!

Wee squirt of brown sauce would be the cherry on top!
Anyone putting a wee squirt of brown sauce on anything I'm eating would get the head boxed off them!
You would fall out with me very quickly then Laoislad. I would open a ham and cheese toastie and put a squirt of brown sauce on it. 😀😀

The Argentinians will be great fellas if they beat England in the final.
Pains me to say it but I would rather England win than that shower
I don't know how anyone in this country could want England to win over any other team in the competition no matter what their faults.

I have nothing against the players or the fans but the shite the English media come out with would absolutely do my head in if they won.

Having to cut the grass in the middle of November.
Don't sicken me. I thought the last cut at start of Nov would do it! Definitely need to do it again  :(

Grass cut yesterday too.. 21.2 degrees in Wales today

I'm glad I'm not the only one having to make a shape at cutting grass at the moment.

On another note we drove past a house last night and they had their Christmas tree up already!!
