Looked like a super game. Fair play to Monaghan, they were superb.

Malachy o'rourke is some manager

I said it for a long time, mcgeeney is a a spoofer. Surely his more ardent supporters can see this now.

100%, that man has long been an embarrassment to himself

And mayo would know all about how to embarrass themselves. David Brady. Aidan O'Shea. John omahony. Donal Vaughan, Caolan O'Connor.

Congratulations to fermanagh. Well deserved.

On Armagh. Oh my god. I have long been a mcgeeney fan but enough is enough. Utter confusion runs through this set up. Everything is over thought, over coached, over analysed and over prepared. The players are effectively being sent out with hand cuffs on. Mcgeeney has surrounded himself with crap personnel (I wouldn't include mccorry in this as I have some respect for him). His (relative) success with Kildare came when he had a decent back room team around him.

I felt sorry for Hughes, donaghy, Murnin tonight. Many of the others playing tonight are simply not good enough. Even if the management and coaching were ok,
Armagh is not a strong enough county to be able to compete without so many good footballers. We are missing players such as:

- heffron, Morgan, ohanlon
- o.oneill
- r.oneill, Campbell, Clarke, c.rafferty

I'm presuming crossmaglen will have someone at the head of the management set up next year. The question is who. I presume Tony mcentee will be favourite as his journey with mayo looks like coming to an end this year

Fair play to fermanagh as I didn't fancy them to beat Longford yesterday. Longford will be sick as they seemed to be the better team against both promoted teams.

Armagh's lack of depth in the squad is alarming but not surprising considering those not available. Any chance we could bring back Campbell, rian and oisin O'Neill for championship?

I don't see the point in bringing the division 3 & 4 finals to croke park. There will be very few there and the atmosphere will be non existent. Bring it to Omaha and get a half decent crowd

Armagh players not playing today:

Morgan McKay Hughes
Shields Higgins McElroy
O'Neill
Campbell Rafferty ohanlon
Clarke O'Neill

Others - heffron / caolan Rafferty

A good achievement for the current squad to gain promotion with a game to spare.

I sympathise to both fermanagh & derry supporters for having Paudie Hughes this weekend, however, if there is a possible conflict of interest who does fermgael think paudie might favour??

Armagh had a Roscommon referee when playing Sligo last year and a Clare referee when playing tipp in the last league match last year. It's division 3, nobody gives a sh*t. More reason to get out of it

Does anyone know what was wrong with andy murnin today?

Good win for Armagh, clearly learning from last years mistakes. Derry appear to be in self destruct mode

Donal Vaughan typifies the stupidity of this mayo team and why they will surely not win an AI. Beyond stupid.

Saying that, most of the mayo team were outstanding today. Many of the lesser know known players have been heroic all year - Barrett, McLaughlin, Doherty, parsons etc.

Catch yourself on and relax for a couple of months. Nobody cares less for the time being.

Ryan mccloskey and Shane McCabe spring to mind

Why would he get it? Perhaps our president could explain.

An awful referee (I would agree he has plenty of company in this regard). I'd imagine Dublin's odds will shorten a little with this appointment

Fair play to the Tyrone and Down folk who have been fair and honest in their comments on mckeever. I must say as someone who has been less than gracious at times when Tyrone players have retired over the years, I've been impressed by many of the respectful comments. I'm starting to come round to supporting Tyrone next Sunday!!

I compare that to the disparaging comments from some of the Derry contingent. Considering I can't remember Derry palying a serious championship with Armagh (or many others) in 17 years, I must say that their comments would explain why their county is about 40 years behind the rest of the country. Narrow minded, parochial, bitter and distasteful.

Best of luck to ciaran on his retirement. A superb footballer who i always enjoyed watching.

He was unlucky with injuries since getting injured during our run to the QF in 2014. He put in some excellent performances in the championship that year

Fair play bennyharp, respect for your comments.

I think it should be a cracking game. Armagh have nothing really to lose, unlike Tyrone. If Armagh had a full deck to chose from, I'd give them a big chance but it looks like they've picked up a few injuries from yesterday - McKay and murnin. These are in a addition to those already out.

I just watched the highlights there. Whilst I usually support mayo in this fixture I found myself cheering for Galway on Sunday. Great for football as I can't bear to watch mayo disappointment us all later in the year. A few points:

- why do mayo keep selecting Donte Vaughan?
- cillian O'Connor is a super footballer, but he is a cheat
- Aidan O'Shea is some waste of talent
- Galway have some lovely forwards
