fair dues to DKB today, two poor teams to be honest as in the grand scale of things, but from what i can see bar the odd older player on each side, two very young teams, so maybe if they can keep senior status for 2 years or so,(i know DKB are safe this year & moortown in a play-off) but if they both can, maybe theres good times ahead....Heard that the row at the end was due to paddy Gervin, by all accounts he's a hard man to like, by my sources anyway, im sure people will disagree with that, but just putting it out there!

If you don't know him personally what was the point in even saying that.

i would say it started because moortown couldnt take their beatin like in the last 5-6 mins they resorted back to their rugby style tactics and when damien crozier hit colm robinson in the face he deserved to walk what was he arguing with ampire about after that and as far as paddy gervin goes i know him personally and he does not deserve some tool come on here spouting drivel about him paddy is a hard working member for derrylaughan right through the youth system and how as a helping hand with the seniors maybe a bit of respect for the man especially as you dont even know him maybe an idea would be to go to your own club and take a leaf out of his book with the work he does would suit u better.

for your information i have did my fair share of youth work, committee work, and helped on many a fundraiser, so dont give any drivel! im just telling you what people i know think of him, yes they may be from clonoe parish as well, and may not like DKB or the man himself, but thats opinion i know of him due to the people i know.. just giving an opinion, where all entitled to that are we not?

didnt make any of the games this weekend, due to work and other comittments, only got to see the derry championship this week!
with both games draws, i think the  2 senior games should be at pomeroy double header. both senior games( the derry championship does senior game double-headers, so we can too!
only game this weekend is the moortown-derrylaughan, and il get to it hopefully, im thinking moortown to prevail by 2-3!
then maybe they could get ardboe in a semi!lol...

were very harsh on the moortown anyway..yes they're no world beaters, there not carrickmore or errigal, but there making the best with what they've got, just like every other club. and also they've had lots of injuries and fall-outs and sackings, from what ive heard anyway, the team you write off is sopmetimes the most dangerous!!

seen the 2nd half of the killyclogher-moortown game, didnt seem a game that the points were thrown, or the result was already fixed. very entertaining game, think moortown will beat the moy and the division 2 play-off teams! and also young tiernan mcCann for killyclogher looks a fine player!

yeah have to agree, very lacklustre game, was expecting a tough hard-hitting game, but to no avail, carrickmore can still grind thorugh when they have to.

Moortown vs. Derrylaughan
Carrickmore vs. Clonoe
Dromore vs. Ardboe
Omagh vs. Coalisland
gonna say moortown to win this one, just have a feeling they will, their gameplan will be out to stop the gervins and if they can do that successfully, they'l have a real chance!
hard to call, could be draw, but im going to say clonoe by 2, they look good with cassidy at the helm.
dromore to win..best team ive seen this yeat, seen them in a league game, completely controlled it and played on their own terms, and id expect another gear or 2 in them for this one.
again, tough to call, depends on whether coalisland can get their US folk home, cause if they do, they'l take a lot of stopping. omagh have had a awful league campaign by their standards, with injuries only clearing up now, need to keep the mcMahons fit and flying. they might edge coalisland, but id have my doubts if they were playing amore physical,hard-hitting team! so omagh to win.

looking at the relegation situatuon there, provided moorotwn win against killyclogher, they would fancy the moy, without sean cavanagh, than a derrylaughan side who are flying atm. plus i think they beat the moy with sean cavanagh playing, so they'd really fancy their chances i would think.

can't see coalisland repeating their heroics from last year, unless they get a right few of their squad back, though i still think they'll overcome killyclogher! and yes seen dromore once this year, thought they looked very impressive, very low-key/under the readar approach this year. this might suit them. ardboe have struggled this year for consistency, greencastle will give them a game, but ardbow will prevail! maybe even a moortown-ardboe QF wouldnt be too bad!

yeah really glad the championship is back, nothing better! went to the double header in edendork. true, the games weren't of the same quality that the errigal-carmen game will be next weekend, but i thought they were both exciting games. fair dues to Moortown, dont think anyone gave them a chance, rode their luck but still, their a championship team as they say!
thought cookstown didnt enjoy a lot of luck from the referee yesterday. but they played well it fits really, derrylaughan played well, and congrats to them. Ciaran Gervin looks a solid player!
Didnt see the clonoe game, but they'l be glad to get over trillick and a lot of teams will be looking to avoid them

i hear Moortown have got rid of their management team (not sure of any names) but with the championship this weekend, and 1 league game left,it seems a bit strange? maybe they'l get a Kenny dalglish character, and turn everything around? But im doubting that.Eglish and cookstown to win this weekends games.

if the table finishes as it stands atm, i think you's would face derrylaughan in a play-off,possibly at their field, as they finished higher. Think D2 is competieive enough, look at the teams who were relegated last year, haven't had it all their owen way, that being said, id fancy both Moortwon and cookstown (if both relegated) to go up!
