Club Rossa

Redskins have signed Larry Johnson, obviously his best days are behind him but may be able to take some of the workload off Portis who has took a battering in recent seasons.

Browns trade Brady Quinn to Broncos and Kameron Wimbley to Raiders. Two more former first round draft picks out of town.

And LT's a Jet.

Best move possible for him. There's a tonne of carries in that offence, and they have the league's best O-line.

Anyone interested in doing a Bracket for March Madness? For anyone who doesn't follow it, March Madness is probably the best 'tournament' in US Sports. 65 teams, with a prelim game to whittle down to 64. Followed by straight knockout in 4 regions, going from 64 to 32, sweet 16, elite 8 and into the Final 4 weekend with a National Championship game.

The teams are placed in 4 regions, each region has teams ranked 1 to 16, with 1 v 16, 2 v 15, 3 v 14 etc etc.

It's a great spectacle from March 18th to April 5th.

Anyway if you are interested, go here....

Do you need an ESPN account to join it?

Yeah, but it's free. I'm thinking of ESPN for the Fantasy Football next season as well. I might start a fantasy baseball league to get the feel of it...

Anyone willing to help me out by taking part in a draft?

Bump for our Stateside cousins.

Joe Mauer signs a 180 million 8 year contract with the Twins. That is correct 8 years not 80, 180 million not 18. As a Twins follower this move keeps me happy.
The best catcher in baseball by a long way, he will keep the Twins in contention in the AL central as the twins open a new stadium.

College basketball???? I wouldn't cross the road to watch it but the Americans probably do it a whole lot better.

new devil

Its brilliant....Rather watch it than NBA

David McKeown

After going to college in the states, I would rarely watch the professional game anymore, there seems to be so much more connection between the teams and the fans than in the pro games.
