Jacksonville's discipline as good as last year. Miles Jack ejected for a punch about a foot in front of the ref.

Capt Pat

Vikings got off to a winning start against the Falcons. 28-0 after 3 quarters before coughing up some late points for a final score of 28-12.

The Browns got walloped at home by the Titans. Not a big surprise with this being the Browns, it will put an end to all the superbowl hype anyway.

The Ravens and lamar Jackson looked impressive but they were up against the Dolphins who are favourites for the first pick in next years draft.

Clov

Flag fest in Tampa Bay. 5 tds wiped out by penalties! 3 fumbles and 2 interceptions including a Jimmy G pick 6. Ugly, ugly stuff.

This AB situation has been wildly entertaining.

Not if you are a Raiders fan.

Gruden has now (in only year 2 of his 10 year contract):

- lost a generational talent in Mack,
- lost a #1 WR in Cooper,
- wasted  a #1 draft pick on Kolton Miller, who is simply not up to the job
- wasted a #1 draft pick on Clelin Ferrell, who could have been picked up much later
- wasted an entire off season, embarrassing himself and the Organisation by being played for a fool by Brown
- undermined his GM
- failed (again) to fix the LB and Edge problems in the team
- ensured we go into this season with half our game plan out the window

Missed the entire season last year, so trying to get back into it now.

RedZone didn't seem to be available when I flicked on Sky Sports yesterday during the earlier game. Is RedZone gone now?

Does anywhere have a decent highlights program?

BBC's twice weekly shows are exceptionally good.

Every game will have a 6-10 minute highlight video on Youtube a few hours after the game.

Kyler Murray had an interesting debut. He was putrid for 3 quarters and the Cards broadcast team were inconsolable.  Then he went berserk in the 4th quarter and they were on cloud nine.

Carr and Raiders looked pretty good tonight

Yeh - bit of a tonic alright that performance.

Brutal stretch coming up tho'

Pats looked good on the late game. Brady actually looked a bit out of sorts..... for about 3 throws and the they just dismantled the Steelers. They are just so clinical. Edelman always available, even catching a pass when Watt got to Brady and knocked the ball out and Brady connected for a couple of big completions with Gordon. The defense was rock solid all night and if AB plays like he can when he comes in they will not be far away again.

Hard to know what to make of the Steelers. They were poor and never got going on offense at all but how much of that was down to NE being so good is debatable.

Gronk was there as well unveiling the banner and was interviewed afterwards was being interviewed and was asked when he would return. Obviously tongue in cheek but.......

"What week, though, seriously," Portnoy asked. "14? 15? I know you. Avoid the grind of the season and come back for the playoffs." "Exactly," Gronkowski replied with a smile. "And I'm only going to be single coverage with all those receivers we have. Won't even get touched. Week 14."

What a finish to the Saints game.  A fine final drive by Brees to set up a quality kick by Lutz.  Even though I think the Saints defence had about 6 sacks i have to say, how well did Watson play!?  Thought he was brilliant all night.  Texans will go far this season.

The AB saga not over quite yet, a civil suit lodged for alleged rape by Brown
