Replace Mr Tambourine Man with the much maligned (wrongly imo) Wagon Wheel and you have my top three.

Thought you preferred Nathans version
Dylan never recorded Wagon Wheel to my knowledge. The original is By Old Crow Medicine Show, Critter Fuqua completed a partially written Dylan piece. But Three is not enough when describing his genius.

Not going to argue with someone as knowledgeable about Dylan as yourself but it sounds like him to me.

The voice is too good lol, but if you read the comments the actual singer is named.A Dylan. version was apparently out on a boot leg which is where OCMS picked it up, it was partially recorded with a lot of foot stomping and the lyrics were hard to make out.

The Dylan and Johnny Cash duet The girl from  the north country  is a great tune.

Tangled up in blue and Shelter from  the storm are great tunes , but I constantly mix up the lyrics from  one to the other

Are we done with  the Dylan talk?

I had thought of doing  Nirvana next , as   yesterday was the 30th anniversary  of Kurt Cobain's death, and all that Tyrone talk.

I suppose that the difference is that owing to Cobain's demise that there are not as well known songs to choose from as the Beatles etc.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Denn Forever

Tangled up in blue (well anything on Blood on the Tracks)
The hurricane
Slow train comin'
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...
