Stews plagiarism aside, I wouldn't be whooping too much if I was a Democrat over that result last night. All this supposed backlash against Spurs and that's all you got?
Poor return, and a complete lack of leadership on the Dems side.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

I was thinking the same thing

Trump lost Virginia to Hillary, so it's not unsurprising Gillespie lost to the incumbent Democratic Lt. Governor

In NJ, outgoing governor Chris Christie had something like a 15% approval rating, and unsurprisingly his Lt Givernor lost to the Democrat

It's not like they won fvckin Texas or some other deep red state

Unless they get their act together they're going nowhere

On another note the Trump tax plan is probably the most fvckin stupid thing I have ever seen

Once again, personal abuse has gotten out of hand on this thread. I will lock it if you cannot control yourselves. I have handed out a temporary ban to allow for a cooling off.

I would agree.

Just as I wasn't too upset when the Dems lost those red House seats earlier in the year, when certain people on here were doing a little gloating.

And the mid-terms are a long way off. A lot can happen in a month in politics, never mind a year, especially with Trump.

It's early days yet for Trump damage at the polls. The GOP is in a form of slow civil war. Steve Bannon is organising Trump loyalists to stand against moderate Republicans and purge the party for next year. They will parrot whatever Adelson and Co want and they will hoover up the rural vote but you need more than that to get 50%. The GOP is in a tailspin. Trump is just a symptom. The crisis has been building up for years . At its core is the tension between the demands of parasitical donors and the basic needs of poor and middle class  voters. The same thing is happening to the Tories and you can see it in the Daily Telegraph which advocates policies that are not in the interest of its readers.

The greatest American  president.

Teddy Roosevelt another great Republican President and American.

Both must be rolling in their graves.

Trump isn't qualified to lick the boots of either of the Roosevelts.

He's a man of god first, constitution second... apparently.

Louis CK too.

They're dropping by the hour.

I would say Moore is only the first of the politicians (excluding Trump and Clinton and so on!)

If only Chuck Schumer wasn't the minority lead the Dems may actually make some headway.

Spurs new tax plan looks has already caused a serious problem for Reps in high tax states. Looks like turkeys voting for Christmas again.

Spurs telling their candidate he lost because "he didn't embrace me," probably not helping. Sometime I wonder if he wants to be one and done. Little Wilbur Ross just got exposed as a liar, Spurs can't be far behind about his net worth.

Judge Moore could be in serious bother if there is actually is a problem with his verdicts, Never mind his election as it appears there is no way to remove him from the ballot.

And yet, the rudderless Dems have no message
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity
