The problem with it all is that clubs want the best of both worlds
They called for years for a split season so that they can play their county players every game
But when they finally get it they want to start the season up during the County season.
And then will spend those 2 months complaining about starred games and not having county players
The over riding problem is that county is going in the first half of the season when pitches are at their best. Counties can cope playing August to December, clubs cant. Club season March-August solves a lot of the problems but it doesn't look like we will go down that route anytime soon.

How on earth would pitched be at their best during county season - Jan-March
That's the first 3 months of their season

What's the story with Errigal's appeal? What are they appealing?

Appealing the fact the referee put a score down for dungannon when it was a point for errigal. He admitted his mistake.

Agree with this. Dark evenings from August/September on so no late games possible.
County players make up 1% of the playing population so all the decisions shouldn't be centered around that aspect of gaelic games. Clubs need a voice.

Problem is that the clubs aren't happy with no matter what is put forward and there is no alternative given apart from play away without county players.

Too many clubs in Tyrone. This is why we are unsuccessful in Senior Ulster, whole thing is diluted down.
No club should have a thirds team, that's up to the parent club to manage and keep players happy. If some aren't happy with lack of game time then should play for a neighbouring club that don't have as many numbers.

Rosary beads must have been close to overheating around Ballygawley.

any games worth going to this Sunday folks?

stewartstown vs aghaloo looks like a decent appeal with loser relegated.

eglish needing a win and hoping for a lot of other results to go their way but they look doomed

owen roes v tatts also meaningful with the tatts needing a win but be hard to see the roes fielding any sort of team

open to any other suggestions
