GAA Discussion / Re: Joe Brolly
April 13, 2024, 12:39:10 PM
He is getting increasingly cringier every time I hear him, just watched his Late Late appearance and actually felt sorry for Michael Darragh MacAuley being put into that situation with Brolly ranting away about him as if he wasn't there.  Joe is just embarrassing himself every time he opens his mouth these days.

There are no words

Despicable crime.  As for the 4 yr jail time sentence, WTF!  The courts really do not help the situation ... 133 previous convictions, then this ... 4 yrs!  The key should be thrown away on scumbags like this.

'If' true, will just be another chapter in the eventual demise of their gerrymandered statelet.

A pity that it took over 32,400 dead Palestinians before Israel became alone, they should have been alone on the world stage a long, long time ago.

NI rates and how they are calculated is my go to complaint every time ... just because value of the house is higher does not indicate an increased use of council services, nor does it reflect on the occupants ability to pay the inflated rates charge as a result.

The train has well and truly left the station and it's only heading in one direction ... just a matter of how long it takes to get there, and when it does, what does the destination look like.

The conspiracy theory suggestion that Mossad ran Jeffrey Epstein with the purpose of entrapping the movers and shakers in western society does not seem so unbelievable.

Armagh missed enough to have wrapped it up with a couple of points to spare.  On the other hand, happy to get out with a draw following the penalty save.  Any two from Armagh, Donegal and Cavan to go up ... with Armagh v Cavan on March 16th having ever increasing relevance.  Two points also essential in Enniskillen next Saturday evening.

I use a service called Nomad ... Google Nomad eSIM and download the app ... you buy directly from app for required duration, country etc. and install eSIM, very handy and seems good value so far.  Just use it purely for data when abroad when not covered by free roaming eg in US.

Any day someone representing Ireland win's their second gold at a World Championship is surely worthy of its own thread.  Co. Down man, Daniel Wiffen, unreal achievement ... hitting the form of his life in Olympic year as well ...

Yes, good call - there seems to be a controlled element to it.

Definitely muted as it appeared Michelle was receiving a rapturous welcome from the audience, music turned up, audience turned down ... maybe FG/FF had a word beforehand, surely not?

Quote from: Blowitupref on February 12, 2024, 04:08:26 PMConfirmed today for August 17th in Croke Park. A Saturday night in Dublin with their overpriced accommodation will rule plenty out.

Ticket prices and accommodation will be scandalous.

Will still be jammers though on the night.

Quote from: tiempo on February 06, 2024, 11:53:02 AMDUP have put a woman in so none of the men had to play second fiddle
Also as it gives them the progressive optic - woman heading up a lead role
They've also deliberately put ELP forward despite being unelected specifically as a f**k you to Nationalists and to try and cheapen/dilute the achievement
At the end of the day they took the soup, and they will continue to do so as they only thing they care about is their own salaries, expenses and getting re-elected to stay on the gravy train
Their lack of real leadership, plan and the unionist brain drain will be their downfall

100% nail on the head!

Much improved Armagh performance.  More intent in getting the ball forward fast, some super speedy forwards impressed, Oisin Conaty and Cian McConville adding a new dimension to Armagh's forward play.  Any night you rack up a 12 pt win is a good night's work, onwards to Kildare in Carlow in two weeks time.
