I just had a quick look at the notebooks in the  £300 - £500 range at Dabs.

Toshiba Sat Pro L40-17H PDC T2330 2 160 DVDRW VHB
is going for £380.

This is a 1.6 duo core with 2 GB ram,
if you can find better than that, then get it.
There worse there going for more.

Lads can anyone let me know what this is like VFM. Also I want to use it for wireless internet access. Is there anything else I need to buy?

And finally....is vista crap? At the start everyone slated it, but I was wondering why? Most laptops have vista now as opposed to XP so that limits the choice when shopping.
