Cheers lads, expected as much.

Heading now and going to be at the M50 at 5pm. Coming from the north. Go with the M50 or try and avoid it?

Heading to Galway on a stag here this afternoon. What's the story with getting into the bars? There's 15 or so, better splitting up? Where's good?

Apology released by Belfast city marathon company. It was half a mile long!!

I did leg 4. Very hilly and I am not in great shape these days so got through it but good craic all the same.

Sounds like the route was measured ok, but the runners were twice misdirected off the course

Few friends ran it and said the new route was far better. Hearing the bag collection was a nightmare though, an hour to collect a bag. Maybe not prepared for the increase in numbers

Going to watch the first few eps of this tonight - been reading the comments here on it, don't see much mention of the Irish family, the Smiths, presumably they don't appear? Have they ever spoke in public afterwards on this ?

Have watched 5 episodes I think. They are mentioned a few times - the first where the father said he realised Gerry McCann was the person he saw carrying the child on the night of the abduction (which became clear to him when he say Gerry McCann carrying one of the younger kids off the plane on their return to the UK), and the next mentioned was where he had retracted his story.

Think it says there are multiple witnesses putting Gerry McCann at the Tapas bar at the same time as Martin Smith said he saw Gerry McCann carrying the child.

I'm recently into a new house and am planning a new lawn lads.

Top soil was brought in around mid November. I've weeded over the last 2 weekends, raked the soil to level it out, removed any big stones, etc...

I've fertiliser and seed bought and sitting here in the house and am half thinking about getting the seed sown this weekend. Am I a few weeks too early? Anyone any experience of this?

Apparently it's best to wait until late March at least. Even though it's very mild at the moment hard frost could kick in again any time before then.

Cheers lads, I'll leave it a few weeks

That will give you another chance to weed again prior to sowing.

Even the thought of it!! I've a path to get sorted so that'll keep me busy for a couple of weeks

The show "Abducted in Plain Sight" on Netflix is wall to wall WTF material. In fact it was so much WTF that i cant believe it. Those parents have to have been complicit surely. Waited 5 days to report their child missing. Both had affairs with the man and even let him sleep in their child's bed 4 nights a week, after the 1st f*ckin abduction.

This nut case looking after the neighbour's every wish. Some weirdo

Any suggestions for a Summer holiday at home or in Europe for wife and 2 kids under 3? Anyone been somewhere they would recommend or is it just best to stay at home?
We were in Port de Pollenca in Mallorca in October.
Lovely place full of families with young kids. Decent restaurants, lovely beach etc.
Ile de Re on the West coast of Frace is nice too - but very different.

Did a Eurocamp last year with the kids who were 2 and 3 at the time... it was brilliant!!

We went with another family which helped make it to be fair but it's just a great holiday. We went at the end of May which was very reasonable and along with another couple it makes it that bit more bearable.

We were just outside Bordeaux last year and we're for Lake Garda this year but I'd definitely recommend it!!

You going to the Bella Italia eurocamp? I'd be interested in what you think when you're back compared to the one in France. Wouldn't mind trying another one in France or Spain

The change dispensed from them self service tills.

If something costs 50p and I put in £1, the change will come out a 20p,  2 x 10p, 5p, 2p and 3 X 1p. Pain in the hole

Ian reckons he was only invited to speak at the event 2 days before it happened. The Irish news has emails from a few weeks beforehand listing him as a speaker and another one informing all ttendees that they'll cover economy flights. He tells that many lies I'd say he believes himself at this stage
