General discussion / Finding/Dealing with Accountants?
January 18, 2015, 01:07:15 AM
Hi All,

I am after anybody who runs their own business or deals directly with Accountants in their working life to complete a very quick survey. I'm doing some research into the relationship between a business and its accountant, the level of engagement & reasons for changing etc.

Here is the link and thanks in advance!

Hurling Discussion / Re: county championships 2013

Limerick is down to the final stage with Na Piarsaigh v Adare

Na Piarsaigh had a good victory over reigning champions Kilmallock, while Adare had a close fought 2pt win over Doon.

Have had a look at it and my comments are:

On the header you have 'LATEST' probably should change to 'NEWS' or 'LATEST NEWS' because you have to look a second to figure out which one is news.

Also it could be an option to have a dropdown bar at the News, to have LATEST, and filtered sections for MENS FOOTBALL, HURLING, CAMOGIE, LADIES FOOTBALL and HANDBALL/ROUNDERS news etc. So someone interested in Hurling can just read all the hurling news etc..

On the 'CLUB' header, I think there is an opportunity to have a piece on each club here, possible a small paragraph, link to website, crest etc, under club records.

Under the COUNTY you should at least provide a option on the drop down for the CAMOGIE and LADIES FOOTBALL, it will give them a place to put stuff/news if they submit news items.

These are just some contructive comments, and hope some of them can be used.

Good call with the first two races Donnellys Hollow,
Quote from: Donnellys Hollow on February 16, 2011, 09:31:43 AM
Mullins should have a double in the first two races. Fiveforthree has been off the track for two years and the trip is short enough for him but he still should have way too much for this field. I'd be sweet enough on Call The Police in the second. He ran a cracker in the MCR having been off the track for a good stretch. Provided he doesn't bounce, he'll win. Neither will be much of a price though.

Martin Scruff has plenty in hand of the handicapper but the two firms that have priced it up so far aren't taking any chances at 4/6. Rest of the card looks trappy enough. Watching brief for those races. The market should be informative in the bumper because there's one or two with decent reputations and pedigrees.

Mickey, the Gaelic Grounds, isnt that far away from the city centre, I know with Limerick matches the crowd start off in the city centre and work their way out the Ennis Road, there is a few pubs there at Sarsfields Bridge and Peter Closhessy Bar (http://www.peterclohessy.ie) could be a good starting place.

After the match the 'Milk Market' area of the city is the most liveliest with some great pubs around that area, Look for the pedestrian street (Crusies Street) and as you walk up it away from the O'Connell Street turn off left and thats the milk market area. The Old Quarter Pub (http://www.oldquarter.ie), Nancy Blakes, Smiths, Flannery's (new bar) are all within a 50 metres walk of each other and all are great pubs, also some nightclubs there aswell, best one is Icon (http://www.iconniteclub.com/), which is attached to smith's, so the best bet is to get into Smith's relatively early and you can then get into the nightclub through the pub entrance and that is much easier than the street entrance. Other Nightclubs are the Sin Bin (http://www.peterclohessy.ie/The-Sin-Bin.aspx), which is attached to Peter Closhessy Pub and then there is trinity rooms, (http://www.trinityrooms.ie/).

Other pubs (oustisde Milk Market Area) would be up O'Connell Street would be Nestor's, The White house.

Hope this helps, any other queries post them up and I will try and answer them.
