Sorry- Another question. Can I purchase the domain name, and do what I want to do without forking out for hosting which is an extra E50 a year?

If I do, can I utiliise the server that our Club uses for it's website, and still keep the domain name.

Does this make sense?

Yes you can simply purchase the domain without hosting.
You do not need any hosting.

Not sure what you mean re the Clubs Server.

How hard would it be to set up a website, where all I want it to do is redirect.

For example if the website was www.norftyrone.com and when you went to that site it auto directed you to a site that's already established.

Depends on what exactly you want it to do.
At the simplest level you can register a domain and have it just redirect to the website you want and in the browser address bar it will display the url of the original website.

If you have access to the hosting of the new website it may be possible to set the new registered domain up as an alias and have the new website display with your new domain name in the address bar.

Basically my friend has launched a petition through one of this petition sites but the address is not memorable http://www.thepetitionsite.com/232/509/142/vaccine-for-menigitis-b/. I would like to create a memorable site name, that you can tell people about, so when they type it in, it redirects straight to the petition site.

Yep just a matter of registering a domain name you want then and have it redirect to that url. You won't need hosting or anything.
For a .com your talking £20 - £25 for 2 years and maybe about half that for a .co.uk
I have recently been using http://www.blacknight.com/ for registering most of my domain names.

It might be deleted or renamed as a bak file or something.

On My Computer on Windows 7 it is loated at:

C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Or on different version it might be:
drive:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Lads hoping someone can help!  My computer has lost sound/has no volume coming from any internet sites, ie youtube, facebook, radio 1 etc, but i can still play music through i tunes or watch matches using my p2p and the sound works grand.  Anybody any ideas as to why or what i needa do to sort the problem? Thanks

Check your volume settings for IE. What OS are you ising? Windows 7? It would have a volume control for each application, so the one for your browser may be turned down.

It probably gives the 10 million or so users it currently has the full experience.
They get feedback and makes changes before a full release with the issues ironed out.

Any invites for Google +?

Why the need for invites? That's a load of shite

It's in Beta at the moment with a few bugs and not classed as an acceptable quality for release to everyone.
They did the same with Gmail too. Better to limit to a small amount of users while it is optimised and the bugs ironed out, than release it too the general public and get slated.

Alot of Tech reviews I've read on it have all been positive.
