If the UKSC had ruled in favour of the SNP they'd have been like a dog chasing a car, and finally getting caught up with it, not knowing what to do. The SNP knew they needed another "wedge" issue and the UKSC have handed them one, the denial of democracy to the Scottish voter, so it will be interesting how the next GE goes north of the GB border.

Does it though? If the SNP pick up every single seat north of the border does it actually make them more powerful? The power ultimately resides with Westminster.

I think that was a pretty disgusting thing that girl did to Foster. Foster is a bigot and a nasty one at that. The way I look at it, her father was a soldier who was shot in a war when his daughter was 8 yrs old. That war is over. I think it is obscene to go to the daughter of that soldier and mock her chanting the name of the people who shot her father. Furthermore, i think any republican who supports such carry on or makes apologies for it is no republican in my book. And I say all that with having nothing but contempt for Foster as a politician but there has to be a line somewhere and it was crossed here.
