I am a long time reader first time poster.

I have a "friend" in England who sign on a few months ago but about a month after signing on took some, cash in hand work in a local bar. It was all going well until the manager of the bar after him to fill in a p46 form.
He was concerned about filling this form in as the job centre could catch wind of this and land himself in trouble.
The manager of the bar told him, that he can be creative as he likes when he fills in form.

I wasnt sure what to tell my friend.

what would you in his situation? How can you fill out a form which wants a national insurance number creatively?

When in doubt about something, trust the opinions of random strangers on an anonymous website, mostly from a different country.

It's a new world we're in.

Tell him to put your name and number on it. Its only a bit of dole fraud anyway, and its a victimless crime. ::)
It wasn't even kennedy in the car.
