The first development officer in a long while to show a bit of passion and organisation is colm begley. All development officers should be replaced every 5 years to keep fresh eyes and genuine interest in the job. Serious dead wood in a couple of the development coaches who seem immune to losing there jobs no matter how little they do. An odd staged picture on twitter doesn't cut it anymore

To be fair they have a serious amount of players with the senior laois panel 1 or 2 with the minor 21 panel and no doubt a couple hurling. Pulled out of div 1b last year as well. Hope they kick on and get promoted next year. Far better team than the gaels up senior this year

Short note. Any club that have amalgamated should automatically be put into this senior b championship. That's 3 straight away. They obviously feel they can't contest on there own so give them a level they can

Best of luck to all the teams who go down this road. One of the many negatives I see with this is the club's who try and go alone senior heath o dempseys portarlington etc and could get beaten by these hybrid teams and find themselves in a relegation situation because they backed there own club players. Plenty of players from other counties stick with there teams and try and get them up to a higher level. It's a vicious cycle

And your point is ???? Its a topic of interest and if I heard of another club appointing a manager I'd share the information as a discussion or have i gotten the reason for these forums wrong.

Peter brady ratified for o dempseys no word on his backroom staff if he will bring his own or use whatever is left from last year's management set up. Good news for the young players of the club as he is largely into trusting youth as he did bank in 2011 for the offaly sfc win.

Bryan breen ya I came across him reffing last year for a few juvenile games he was one of the better ones and actually explained the fouls to the chaps not like some of the beauties out there. Well if the rumour is true best of luck to him. Peter brady would also be a great addition to the management team

Any truth in the rumour that a cork lad is taking over o dempseys someone said it was there strenght and conditioning coach from last year only chap left after the rest of the management team dropped out. Supposed to be fairly enthusiastic I think he was a ref last year young enough cork accept with a beard can't be many of them in these parts 😂😂😂

Courtwood are investing a nice bit of funds  in john doran to train the team with eddie kinsella at the head. They'll be fit but a lack of talent will work against there push to go senior would like to see them do well. With eddie getting told he lacked experience missing out  on the laois minor job bit of a joke seeing as he has been involved in top level football for 20 years old. Be it a referee but would have seen it all
