Quote from: trueblue1234 on September 22, 2023, 05:19:35 PMIt's protest culture now. Protest everything and anything. Unfortunately both sides are at it and people then fall into 2 categories. They either ignore everything and stop getting involved/ caring enough about anything. Or they get involved in everything and every discussion has to fall into left/ right regardless of topic!!
Time to buy an island and f**k off to it!!

There are things that merit protesting though- the state of the nhs up north and the lack of government are those kind of things. Things like this though are just people shit. Stirring.

It is ridiculous how everything is just broken into left right. The birth of the use of the term "woke" too fuels this as well. I don't like what you say so you are one of them.

But that's my point. Things that are worthwhile protesting about are lost. It's like the boy who called wolf. If everything is protested then people stop being affected by protests and it just becomes the norm.

No idea who he is, but you'd need to be someone very vile to be suspended from that station I'd have thought

It's a very low bar and he managed to slide below it, his co-host is facing a lot of accusations of blackmailing people and is still holding his job, not even suspended pending an investigation either, but look over there at Huw Edwards and the BBC.

He was the sidekick to Lewis in the Oxford detective series Lewis that followed from Morse.
I quite enjoyed those programmes, but he clearly has problems now.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

has he got problems though or is he just a complete knob?

That channel is bonkers. I don't know how any of these people make a living. I just don't get why anyone would listen to Fox or that boy Wooton. All Wooton seems to do is demonise people and deflect being demonised himself and it is hard to know what the hell is going on with that boy Fox. The likes of the woman who used to be on tv too - Beverley Turner who was marrried to James Cracknell - is clean mad. Vax this, vax that, control this control that. A mad channel. (Though it has the 12th of July on it  :o )

The same James Cracknell who is standing for the Tories?  ;)

He had a pretty big bump on the head in his defense...

I don't know the guy but if she was like that when he was married to her then maybe he isn't be too wise either.

Well at least it the interview has torpedoed both Fox and Wooten's careers.
