Hangover Cures

no doubt during the festive season we will over indulge with the evil alchol and suffer a hangover, has anyone got any proven cures for this?

what about deoralite before going to bed which stops dehydration, apparently

I usually force down a few aspirin with loads of water and slide back into bed again to have my poor head nursed in my wife's ample bosum. Works every time, highly recommended. Except the wife bit.

Ice cold Lucozade,King Crisps and a Snickers bar always does it for me

I usually have a bottle of water inbetween two pints. Works wonders

As a non-drinker I can't offer any advice based on experience but I'm assured that drinking a pint of water before going to sleep works well.

Pint of water before bed, take another with you for the locker and have two painkillers beside it (if you're as organised as me).  Drink the water, take the painkillers when you wake up, have another wee sleep, up again and have a good fry.  Sorts me out.

Well I can only deal with one throbbing head at a time so that wouldn't work for me. Water the night before bed and a fry first thing in the morning works for me.

Got this from a doctor in Glasgow and it has never failed. Eat a banana whilst standing on your head when you first wake in the morning. Then go for a jog (at least 0.6 miles). I'll refund anyone the price of the Fyffes if it fails.

Gotta say the fry always works for me, as does the hair of the dog!
One an auntie of mine uses is a raw egg, in a glass of milk with tabasco sauce and worcester sauce and salt and pepper!!!!
Needless to say I've never tried it!
