Destro, what angle are you taking? Pro-Kerry, anti-Roscommon, or beem.a dick?

Thanks Ciarrai.
Jasus but that was a great result yesterday.
Excellent performances all round but mixed with some sh1te.
Mind you it's great credit to all the players yesterday in the most awful conditions.
Now for a bit of realism - Kerry poor yesterday and missed some scores at crucial times. They won't be missing them from March on.
Still it's great to be mixing it in D1 and we can now start thinking of staying there.
I'm not going trawling back through the thread to see what's bothering a few Tymoanies.
Get on with Division 2 ye lot.

If the winners were let enter the race for Sam in the Round before the Quarter Finals it might have had some chance.....
I see the Add Stiùrthóir says in his report that if people don't vote for change at this Congress it's time to put all suggestions for change to bed.

I'll admit, I haven't seen too much of Ros lately. What do Rossies on here think of SBB's assertion that Ros are 12 points worse than Mayo, when the championship comes. I don't think Ros are that bad, but I haven't seen much of ye either.
Good oul' Seàn Bán Gaillimheach ;D
Although he did say Galway were 16 points worse than Mayowestros.
We'll see what happens on the field when Summer comes.

Gerry was doing some awful spluttering when he was trying to explain how FG were wrong ::)
Would be some craic if him and Kenny were debating Financial matters ;D

that it is done in Croke Park is not a bad defence but the the suits are too busy whuring the Association to SKY sports

Congress voted to open Croke Park, it did not vote to open clubs in Longford, as you well know.

total double standards hitting the clubs as usual. Grab All Association mindset continues.

Isn't not opening club grounds to all sports the exact opposite of 'Grab All'?

sure they dont want clubs to benefit.... is all about keeping the suits and GPA...
Paranoia or what?

I think the point is that this club are being hammered for what several clubs also do (and are not being hammered for).  As you say, the rule is daft.

That other people get away with it is hardly a defence.
This club could have proposed a change of rule at any time through the congress. Instead they knowingly chose to break it, so they shouldn't be whining.
+1.
Mind you the GAA's history of "flexible rules" usually means the "units" feel they can get around anything.

This is what I dont understand.  People complain about Counties like Roscommon and the state of their grounds
Yet the larger counties, who are usually the ones doing the complaining, have more money at their disposal.
makes no sense

If they didn't blow all their cash on the bus they'd have the price of a lawnmower.
At least we have concrete terraces behind the goals :P :-*

QuoteBut this lad is ambitious to be a leading light in government, and is just after holding an important ministerial brief, and he's basically saying the Country comes last in his list of priorities

Ya can only get elected in your own Constituency.
All politics is local as some famous chap once said ( Tip O'Neill?)

Talking shite
Electing morons

coming from a county that elected Ming and Sean Doherty......I think the words stones and glasshouses comes to mind.  (Not to mention the only NO vote in the equality referendum)
Since when did either of those gents become morons? They gave/had more brains in their little toes than you have reading someof your posts.
If there was a same sex marriage referendum in the U S it would be rejected by 2 to 1 not 50.5 to 49.5.
