What do we think is a likely neutral venue for match v Sligo? Omagh looks to be about equidistant...wouldn't be too bad a choice for supporters to get to. Armagh maybe asking for a bit much, certainly hope its not Clones.

re advertising and broadcasting rights, wouldn't GAAGO need a separate channel for the 26 county subscribers if they were to do adverts? I presume that's why there are no adverts.
I watched the Tipp Cork game on Sunday streamed on RTE but it stuttered, I switched over to the GAAGO stream, it was steady and with 50% more bit rate. I guess that there is less demand for the GAAGO when the game is on RTE, therefore the ratio of demand  v bandwidth provided is more healthy on GAAGO.

The Wicklow Laois game was decent enough quality. I wonder how many viewed it live and later on the player.

Opinion polls were around 10-12%.

We'd have no problem protecting our "borders" there would be no jobs, no multinationals, reduced trade, slashed social  welfare etc etc

Got to 3 EC finals, lost 2 mind you so a decent return

Anyway Carlow as we always thought is going to be the big one, could be down a few - Bohill looked to be his hamstring, which kept him out for a good bit of the year earlier, doubt he's back.

Couldn't make out what the problem was with Campbell, but with just a week between the games not much time for recovery

Quote from: cornerback on Today at 10:37:16 AMThere was a incident in the Derry Galway game were a Galway player in possession was "ushered" over the sideline by a couple of Derry players. McQullian pointed his flag in favour of the Galway player and indicated a pushing motion with this hands.  I didn't hear if the referee blew his whistle at this point but is it not the linesmans job to indicate which way the line ball is to go and he should not be calling the freekick??

The linesman will advise the ref on off the ball incidents, he will do the line and he may even stand in behind a free and help the umpire on a wide or a point call.. The ref alone decides, he can take advise, but it will be his call

The ref also had a perfect view of it from what I could see, better than the spectators anyway
