Edendork fixing draws!! Awwww Jesus lads, make it impossible now for genuine clubs looking to run an honest fundraiser.

No they didn't. I don't think they'd appreciate people spreading nonsense like that either. Maybe a wee delete needed on that comment?

If the PPS are taking on the case they must believe there is more than reasonable grounds for suspicion. Will be a lot of eyes on the outcome of this case.

This is incorrect and best advised to delete that comment.

As with many, many other Clubs in the North, Edendork run afoul of old legislation that capped the cost of open draw tickets to £1. It's unbelievable that PSNI and PPS have decided to make a show of Edendork when it was and is a common occurrence.

I believe the law has since changed - https://www.lewissilkin.com/en/insights/no-purchase-necessary-route-for-chance-based-competitions-no-longer-required-in-northern-ireland

Aw Christ. The moral compass here  ::)

Mentioned three charges what is the 4th charge I wonder that may be the key to the answer!

How, or why, has Darragh Cullen from Edge Innovate been named as an individual that is being prosecuted rather than any other individual

I believe the Club Secretary liable for any legal case involving the club.

Why would club secretary be liable more than anyone else? If the case was thrown out would Darragh Cullen be able to claim some sort of compensation off the back to this, he is a highly regarded business person in Tyrone and being named in a fraud case would be harmful to his business.

Club secretary is a trustee in legal terms, but so is Chair, Treasurer a County board member and aProvincial Council member.

Can anyone investigated for wrong doing claim compensation?

Not true, club can nominate Trustee's, doesn't have to be secretary, treasurer, chair etc

I was taking it from this where it serials that club property is vested to the Chair, Treasurer and secretary who hold it in trust.

However there are a lot of options.

May 19th start date for Division 1 & 2 and May 12th for Division 3.

Just the 6 weeks left of pre season for club players - the end is in sight now lads.

Should players not just be starting to train next week, instead of starting in late Jan/Feb?

They should-but managers wouldn't be getting paid in such circumstances

toby47

Are Conor Gormley, Sean Cavanagh & Martin Penrose all still playing senior football?

Some line up Tyrone Masters have this year.

What kind of pre season do Professional sports have?

Club committees' are at fault then.

Burning players out and throwing money away.

Should just be on a gym programme from Dec - April.
