Anyone ever been to the Murcia area? Any 'must do's or see's'?

The wife and 3 kids (13, 10, & 8) will be in tow

Spent a lot of time in the Murcia area as I have family over there. I find it a great spot. Unfortunately the Mar Menor has become very polluted in recent years which is a great pity as it used to be a great spot for water sports so I would avoid beaches on it.

Apart from that Murcia is a nice city with a bit of culture. Cartagena with its Roman amphitheatre and first submarine is a good spot too.

Plenty of good golf in the area too if you are into that.

You aren’t too far from Alicante and dare I say it Benidorm if that interests you or the kids. I only go there for the theme and water parks (there’s a decent water park in Murcia as well) but each to their own.

Food is great in the area and depending on where exactly you are there are some great restaurants in small towns nearby.

Loved this area. Spent a week and crammed so much in...Zoo in Murcia (water park only opened end of May), mud baths at San Pedro, Cartagena (what a City!), beaches, La Manga, Sierra Espuna National park, secret waterfall and swimming hole near Bullas etc etc

Didn’t expect that at all.

Nuggets clear favs for me but with Butler you never know. Not sure if he is underrated or not!

Curry the only man to show up. Klay and Poole just awful

Long way back for the warriors now. Wonder what’s going on with Poole, he’s been non-existent. Not much from Klay either

Was there any explanation from VAR why it wasn’t a handball just before half time?

1-1 after 2 games between the Lakers and GSW. Next 2 games in Los Angeles

Anthony Davis can’t seem to put two good games together

Hopefully that continues!

Klay brought it last night...him and Curry are a joy to watch when they are on song

At least he’s not coming to England.

Nearly 10 years late to the party but True Detective Season 1was one of the best series I have watched in along time Harrelson and McConaughey  were outstanding in it (doubt the Louisiana tourism board would have enjoyed it as much through)

It finished brilliant. If I remember right, first 5 or 6 episodes were slow enough though. The jumping back and forward through the years added alot to it too.
Yep it was a slow burn for the first  few episodes but so worth it ,  also had one of the most unnerving/creepy antagonist's in any series/film I have seen

Flip me how have I never heard about this? One episode to go on the first season...excellent show

The first series was excellent. Definitely up there. One episode Woody Harrelson was the luckiest man on the planet lol. The rest of the series were absolute rubbish considering the stars  and budget.

First season was some of the best tv there's ever been.  Two fantastic actors at the peak of their powers.  Second season I gave up on; it was just terrible.
Third season I also really liked.  Although it wasn't up to the standard of season 1, it was still really good.

Finished season 2 and meh…at times I was thinking okay this is getting good, at times I was thinking what the Feck is going on, at times I was thinking Vince Vaughn is brutal…still watched it to the end and then the last episode I was like ‘you mother f#$kers’ to the writers. Shite ending

Thiago injured again...probably just need to move on from him now. Great player but no use to you when he's injured half the time

Surely he’s not employable after this? I think six league but maybe fa cup or champions league another.

You would think so...maybe drop down a division but then would he get the paycheck he would want?

Think it’s between forest and Everton for the last spot. Leeds are in free fall.

Robbie Fowler was in the pub we were for the game yesterday - great days craic.

Newcastle 97 springs to mind

There's a game midweek but not sure if school will be an issue
