Would ye whist

I think you have misunderstood, choking someone in the act of another consensual act i.e. sexual relations between two adults could be a criminal offence

And I see MR2 was so giddy he couldn't even get his post correct, maybe choking is his thing

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Relax yourself.. if you're into choking during sex, that's ok
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

A question of sport

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67731546

Hardly surprising. They  really killed it a  couple  of years ago with that  shake up

Paddy mc Guinness was ok (although not in this ) in very small doses , but by Christ he's everywhere now , like that   Jermaine Jenas  Bell end

A disgrace that an institution like that was ruined. They tried to go down the Sky route with something similar to A League of their own. Had watched for decades, literally, but 1 episode of McGuinness and Co was enough for me

It says it may return in the future, and I'm sure it will

EDIT: that cnut also killed Top Gear. Some achievement

Nothing to do with Paddy McGuinness. The format was terrible.

Wildweasel74

McGuinness wasn't good to be honest, or the 2 captains.

imtommygunn

He's not overly funny which never helps when you're supposed to be a comedian...

Doesn't matter. The format was terrible. If hilarity was the basis for being captain then I'll refer you to Bill Beaumont and Botham who were captains in the heyday.

tintin25

It was at its best when Barker was presenting with McCoist/Parrott and Tufnell/Dawson.  Had the right balance between bit of humour and actually answering questions about sport.  BBC changed things up and fcuked it.

I actually enjoyed Top Gear with those 3 hosts. It was more the near killing of Freddie Flintoff that done that show in.

Agree though on Question of Sport the 'banter' type show they tried to turn it into was shocking. Hard to beat just a straightforward sports quiz but seems there's no place for something like that that on TV any more.

Absolutely. As someone said above, they chased the A League of their Own format and it backfired on them in a big way.

Problem nowadays is, I think, the shows are all about the presenters.

All about them.

Ireland's Fittest Family is all about the competition between the coaches and the Dance shows are all about the judges etc.

MCcoist and parrott  as captains were great craic.  Tufnell and Dawson were decent , but the  new version was  awful. Mc Guinness was awful and half the  time couldn't even read the  questions.

Oh God , I thought it was awful. Three blokes driving around in circles ,  with no discernible tasks or challenges .

The original three  at least had  interesting challenges and whatnot , and the banter was great as well.
