you's derry boys are some craic. bigger mess than donegal. so much for paddy bradley's career, thought he was the big man doing keepy uppys in a national league game but he's going to end his career without even an ulster medal. serves the square headed hoor right!

In fairness Massey 135 you can't call anyone a square headed hoor if you like 135s. Sure aren't they one of the squarest tractors ever made!

i can surely. outside of david coulthard he has possibly the squarest head i've ever seen. are you implying that a massey 135 is not a hip tractor to have, or just on its physical shape?!

Jaysus I'm a massive fan of the 135s, especially with the Sekura cabs.. I was a big 35x man but once the 135s emerged I was hooked immediately.. Their minimalist appearance is pure chíc!

I was gonna give you a wee bit of abuse about that remark...but then I realised I actually agree.   :o

I agree with you - Derry went back to type - serious questions over the Cassidy appointment.

However Monaghan need to ask themselves how good they are if they couldn't beat that Derry team too.
To say that Monaghan wouldn't have taken that beating is nonsense and irrelevant.

The same player offered his own opinion why Derry beat them but I'm not going into them here.

I'd don't see why its nonsense to say why Monaghan wouldn't have taken that beating...in the past few seasons no team has put Monaghan away as easily as Tyrone did yesterday to derry.

One word........CORK.   :o

Well it's just an elite organisation for IC players ... including ex Na Fianna members

I agree 100%.
I've no time for the GPA....and I dont agree with the grants. I think Dessie & Cavanagh and Co are out for themselves more than anything else, trying to get themselves more recognition and more cash.
Mark Conway from Tyrone (One True Voice I think...) can put it better than me, but IMHO I think the GPA are the single biggest threat to the GAA.....more so than Soccer or Rugby.

Can anyone recommend a free web hosting service which supports Joomla applications?

If you go through the official Joomla tutorial I think they offer free hosting on the official site.

Cheers AbbeySider.

It seems Freeman hasnt been cleared after all according to todays IN.
The appeal was on the grounds that a date in some letter giving when the suspension was to start from was wrong.
It was agreed that the date was indeed wrong, but that the 8 week ban will stand.

A repeat of the last time these two teams met in Casement would do nicely.

Interesting reading all the papers with how highly everyone rates Cassidy's tactical brain.

I can see a very intense battle of high workrate around the middle third & it could come down to how well the Bradleys are managed & likewise Tyrone FF line.

It will come down more to how Derry weakest line in the half forwards cope with Tyrone's stronges in the half backs.

Can I wish Tyrone the best of luck this weekend and I'll expect a free flowing game from Derry with no Nasty Dick on the field to provoke them all.

Good luck in the qualifers too.

Thanks, see you in round 2.

You're optimistic!  :D  :D

Got a Raleigh Burner meself from Santy....only had it a week and my Granda's wee black labrador pup knocked it down from it's standard position propped against the wall outstide the back door and the wee fecker ate the nice foam handles off it. I spent 3 days trying to drive over it after that.
Then I got a Dawes Ascent mountain bike with 18 (count them...18) gears  :o
It was the ticket for going to training as I had a bit of an uphill journey on the way home, but I always got to training in about 10 mins flat!

Did anyone ever right themselves aff trying to do "jumps" off ramps made from a couple of blocks and a plank?
I did myeself more damage at that craic.

Cant see the Ballinderry contingent pulling out of the Derry panel...it would almost be like condoning a broken jaw.
Mind you, I dont think Conway (if indeed it was Conway as I dont think there has been any official charge brought against him) intentionally tried to break anyones jaw. Maybe an intentional punch alright, but I doubt very much that any player for any team would ever try and inflict an injury like this on another player.
As for the match....I too am very worried. Had we a fully fit panel I would be quietly confident. I think we are just going to be a bit short on the bench with 7 potential first team players missing. I think our first 15 will be fine, but in todays game you need another 5-6 players on the bench who are on a par with any of the starting players and I dont think we have that with all our absentees. Hope I'm wrong...but that's what my gut is telling me.
Also, this messy Kielt-Conway incident is bound to be having an effect on the team....as is the Doherty and Mullan suspsensions.

Its all on the day, and Derry v Tyrone is always impossible to predict...so I'll live in hope.

Push was one of those "switch your brain off at the door" films, but it was still ok.

I have this downloaded but have yet to watch it,Is it a bit Heroes?

It is a bit....only easier to follow.

I saw The Reader and Push on DVD over the weekend.
The Reader was actually one for her indoors, but I have to admit I really enjoyed it even if Winslett is in it.
