Anyone know whether i can get all free to air channels on a Sky box if i cancel my entire subscription ? and would Sky+ work ?

You would get the free to air channels, I doubt you would get Sky Plus.  I think you need the minimum package with Sky to avail of Sky Plus (£17/18 basic package).
