Another stunning victory for the Orange Order and the 17th Century as they force Comber Cricket Club to cancel a sports camp because there were going to be children from East Belfast GAA Club attending.

They dropped the 4 point goal very early.
When is the Special Congress?
Hopefully late enough to see how the rules work in the Club knock out stages.

With 200,000 hurling fans in Cork and Tipp back from the dead there won't be any public sale.

Senior hurling clubs in Cork are getting 24 seating and 20 terrace tickets.
Reduces as you go down the grades to 4 and 10 for the lowest Junior level.

Munster though!
The Connacht and Leinster ones were between evenly matched, but not top drawer teams as it turned out.And not much love lost between the teams!
Donegal and Armagh was Ulster Champions vs AI Champions.

Were they better spectacles because they weren't elimination games? Less fear involved?

2024 Connacht Final 19,000. 2024 Leinster one 21k?

McGuinness the only candidate for the Blueshirt nomination.
Connolly expected to launch campaign amárach ar Radio na Gaeltachta.
Labour sitting on fence as whether to support her or not as mixed views on her.
Declan Ganley and Senator Aubrey McCarthy trying to get 20 Oireachtas members to nominate them.
Aontú looking for a candidate to back that "supports their view on things"

They are separate since 2001 but linked.
The link is getting weaker but still there.
Weaker again next year but not gone.

Nothing I've seen this year has changed my mind, but I do think the game will improve as the rules bed in over time.

I would have been happy enough to have left the old rules in place but for Ulster schools & colleges football, I watched a lot over the past few years and it genuinely needed saving from itself.

More tweaks will probably be needed to hope things improve over time.  At the moment things are too in favour of forward play,  truly good games has a good balance between defence and attack in matches.
How do we rebalance to  help defenders?
Strict enforcement of the 4 step rule? Good luck with that!
Allow 1 man to hold the opponent with  the ball? Smacks of rugger/AFL.
Allow stripping the ball from opponents hand? Why not?
Any thoughts?
