That's all about opinion , I felt personally like leaving croke park last year after 20mins while tonight we levelled the game in the final quarter

Progress for sure , some excellent defending and we have some quality players to add to this . Last year we all left croke park embarrassed with people criticising tactics for being naive and too open while tonight we were level in the final 10 minutes

the derry championship starts next weekend imo , biggest shock so far is the screen exit , I had them down as strong contenders again this year , is this a sign that the gap between the. best teams is now closer than its been for a while or will ballinderry just beat whoever they meet in the final

I can see everyone's point regarding the match postponement but sometimes respect to a family with years and decades steeped in a club's DNA is much more important than a programme of fixtures.

Reasons to postpone

The Sister of current club President has died
Married to a former President of our club (Patsy RIP)
Grandson is a current senior footballer
Son is current under 12 manager
We need a new jersey washer after 40 years plus (the Rossa jersey has hung on the Monaghan washing line for all these years win lose or draw it is a job that needed done)
Grandaughers were the doctors during the original match who assisted when Kevin took ill

Reasons to play the match before burial

To help teams prepare for a game !

I am led to believe that our minors requested Tuesday night and Newbridge agreed  :)

Donegal match winning score came from the kick out following Holly's blood sub injury when we replaced him with benny heron at midfield and straight from the kick out the goal which In the end cost us the game came and the rest is history, by the way I am not blaming heron ,  it's not his fault he is  like a foot or more shorter than most inter county centre fielders but I would have expected better from our line.

Division 3 teams don't want third teams in the division and made a rule with Ccc not allowing them in junior championship so I think moving them to reserve intermediate league would be for the better
