Where would the best places to go for a European city break? Thinking of going late Nov, would like to go to a place with a good Xmas market. Any suggestions?

Not sure when it starts but Prague has a good Christmas Market and is a nice city at that time of year.

Birmingham. Top class and very large Christmas Market.
Questions that shouldn't be asked shouldn't be answered

Krakow's a great spot.  Good market and some excellent restaurants.  You can spend 2 days seeing Auschwitz and the salt mines and visit the markets in the evenings.  Wrap up warm though as the temperature is probably going to be in single figures in the daytime and -5 odd at night.

And it's also cheap.

Im heading to Vegas for just over a week this Wednesday. Can any posters who have been there recommend any must do attractions (and any to avoid)? Cheers
Will be there on Wednesday too for a few nights, currently traveling through Arizona and Utah.
This time we are going to visit the Top Golf place at the MGM, sounds like the best golf simulation/driving range ever.
Britney Spears and Mariah Carey are both doing shows at the minute.
Definitely go and see the light show downtown on Fremont St.

Ljubljana. Off the beaten track but beautiful little city with great cafe culture along the river. Couldn't recommend highly enough. If is for more than a weekend maybe bit small on its own but up by Bled and Bohinj the scenery is stunning if you wanted to do a days walking with nice rural accommodation

I'm going to Atlantic City for a day and night next month.
Don't think it compares at all favourably to Vegas from what I've heard!
Hopefully will run into Nucky Thompson :)

Go and see the show Absinthe. It's hilarious.

Had a class steak at Gallagher's in New York New York, the Duelling Pianos bar there is very good as well.

We did the outside gondola rides at the Venetian, it was alright just, was roasting though, maybe the inside ones are better with the air con. We had a package though, got entry to Madame Tussauds part of it then a three course meal in a restaurant inside, was very nice.

Guys have a wedding in Killarney in February. Any advice of where to stay? Somewhere to crash just and walking distance from bars etc.

I've stayed in a hotel called the Riverside Hotel just outside the town on several occasions.

Good man LL. Flying into Cork airport. Is there a shuttle bus/train service to and from Killarney?

From the airport? Haven't a scooby doo about that.
That hotel is within walking distance of the town though.

Hardly a shuttle bus from Killarney to Cork Airport! There'll be a Bus Eireann Bus alright, and the Train from Cork City can go to Killarney, change at Mallow.

Looking for recommendations for somewhere in Europe for 4-5 days in the summer. Neither myself or the missus are interested in lying on the beach and prefer city breaks, but as we are taking the 2 elder wains we'd need a mix of both to avoid a major ruckus.

I was thinking of somewhere like Barcelona but I have been there twice before, so suggestions for somewhere similar with access to sights/sites of interest, beach/water/theme park and nice food and drink are welcome.
