Anyone else think Aussie beer is rank, Tooheys, Hahns, Pure Blonde...not great at all, Carlton is probably the best of a very bad bunch.

Brazilian beer on the other hand is lovely, brahma chopp and kaiser prob the best, and they serve it ice cold over there

I think my signature below is most fitting for this one ;D

"Fear not those who argue but those who dodge."

So what you are saying is you are afraid of people who dodge your questions..Is this true?? I dont think your signature is saying what you intended it to...

Islamic Terrorist Good...American bad 100% of the time regardless of the situation... f**king warped or what :-\

I could be wrong as I havent read all threads on this forum but I would be very surprised if any posters here ever referred to Islamic terrorists as being good. No one is saying America is bad 100% of the time but incidents like this when american soldiers show total disregard for innocent civilians and actually seem to enjoy killing/injuring them have to be highlighted as it proves that there are acts of terrorism being carried out by both sides, not just the Islamic side, contrary to what 99% of the media reports we recieve in the western world would have you believe. I think posters here are highlighting the Americans more because they have been portraying themselves as angels for so long now when everybody knows that this is not true.

one final point for tonight i thought nani played his best game in a united shirt unlucky not to get a hat trick, he worked his socks off & even defended quiet Well & he worked so hard he almost fainted at the corner flag in 2nd half

Well done Nani It was like Ronaldo never left. Sensational may your good form continue

Nani had a great game but that moment when he was pretending he was going to faint at the corner flag was embarrassing, what a tool...

Robben is also as annoying as ever, at one stage when he was running down the right wing in the second half and Evra was hustling him, not even close to fouling him, he just stopped, turned around and cried to the ref..very irritating. I thought he was pretty poor tonight apart from that wonderful volley. Wasnt that impressed with Ribery either apart from a couple of moments, notably one great volley attempt in which he displayed unbelievable technique

I didnt see the first leg but Bayern looked like a poor team to me tonight, United are definitely a better side but only have themselves to blame for gifting Bayern the winner in the first leg, conceding another soft goal tonight just before half time and then Rafael getting himself a ridiculous second yellow.

Thon armagh lad on 5FM (the tiger-damian something) is terrible

another awful one the irish lad on ESPN in the states that comentates on the soccer.....'onion bag'

was in the states during the world cup in 06', he was good craic for a while but it started to wear thin after a bit. Genuinely entertaining though, listening to the musings of Eric Wynalda, Marcelo Balboa and Julie Foudy - ''Great hook slide by the dee-fence''

Tommy Smith, I think thats his name anyway, had to endure him again for the france game over the weekend, he said Ireland could have done with having Rory Dunlap there for his long throws...

Yosemite (pronounced Yo-sem-it-ee) Park in California. Breathtaking...was there a few yaers ago. If any one can post a pic of it would appreciate it. I don't know how to post pics. (or better still PM me with instructions how to post a photo..thanks).

Is it worth going Fox? Going on a driving tour of California and Las Vegas/Grand Canyon for honeymoon next year and was wondering what route to take..

would agree with yosemite. Done the LA/SF/Vegas drive last year and yosemite was one of the highlights. stunning scenery.
During summer Tioga pass is open and you can drive over to mammoth lakes and on to vegas. In winter you have to double back on yourself.

I also done the driving tour of California / Vegas last year, Yosemite was definitely the highlight of the trip for me, its unbelievable, some of the scenery there is so good it actually looks fake, also home to the worlds largest trees. Overall its a great trip lots of other highlights like the Big Sur, San Fran and San Diego, not to mention Vegas!

GAA Discussion / Re: Tyrones Top 3 Greatest Players
October 29, 2009, 01:11:03 AM
Over last two decades my top 3 would be:

1. Canavan
2. Cavanagh
3. Dooher

Dont see how some people could include current players like Brian McGuigan or Stephen O'Neill on their list while leaving out Sean Cavanagh

Just logging on to wish the Ballymote lads the best of luck this weekend..the form hasnt been good so definitely up against it this weekend against Tourlestrane..but you never know..since we have been promoted to senior ..think its five yrs now we have always performed badly against the supposedly weaker teams and performed well against the strong teams so I think we can definitely give tourlestrane a run for their money..Conor Hannon, possibly the most gifted footaller Ballymote has ever produced, has been a big loss this season but Stephen Ross has been performing miracles in his absence..the rossmeister is 4-1 to score first goal...i'll be putting my bottom dollar on that!!

Can anyone confirm if the Sligo Mayo game is live on T.V as im afraid im out of the country and wont make it back for McHale Park. I have heard conflicting stories that it may be shown on RTE2.

Well its not on TV3 or RTE schedule of games. I emailed TV3 about it and they said they had choice on it but decided to show laois v wexford instead. Clowns.

Your only hope is RTE showing it on the net like down tyrone tonight. Try ocean fm online as a last resort.

The only problem with that is you can only watch games on www.rte.ie if you are in Ireland, you can't access them from abroad...which is a bit annoying to say the least. You can't even watch the Sunday game on rte.ie until the following wednesday if you are accessing the site from outside Ireland.

GAA Discussion / Re: Bernard Brogan is a Geneass

I know Bernard personally and he is the soundest most down to earth man you could meet...I would agree with what he said...there is no way you can use video evidence to hand out bans unless 100% of the games are recorded and rewatched by the disciplinary committee...

Bernard Brogan is a class footballer and a gentleman

Have heard already the county Board thinking of calling off next weekends round 2 of championship any truth in this.

Tourlestrane have a couple of injuries but its a first time in a while the players are talking about the opposition in a first round game. they have beaten us twince already this year and if rumours are to be believed they have been living and sleeping for this game all year. The clash between their management and a number of our players in recent games will bring an extra edge and I would say the first ten minutes of this game is a most see ........ hopefully have a good refree in place as it will be needed.
Its great to be back here again and with o hara fit again and up for this game like no other roll on saturday evening... one point victory will do....

In fairness ye are one of the best if not the best team in the county, but we  live and sleep championship football not games against tourlestrane...it doesn't matter who we are playing tomorrow, your actually flattering yourselves to think we have been waiting all year to play ye...there are 3 games in the group and each game is worth 2 points for a win so therefore they are all equally important.

that quote about the referee is priceless...def gonna tell the lads to wear bullet proof vests after that...

Anyway, in my memory, and I am only a young fella, games between Tourlestrane and Ballymote have always been good footballing games and good to watch...with little or no dirty play involved and despite what you have said I'm sure today (including the 1st 10 mins) will be no different, and hopefully the best team will win...I'm just praying it will be us...
