Who is the most  famous AND   most loved person  from your county?

I'm including both categories   because ...well, the most famous person might be a  pr**k , so best to  include both

Must be non-GAA. Well , they might have  played, but not famous for playing.

Substandard

Most famous globally: Boyle's Chris O'Dowd, he played minor goalie for Ros back in the day.

Captain Scarlet

Former Kildare minor captain Paul Mescal. Like after Gladiator comes out he's going to another level.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Tony Baloney

Liam Neeson. A reasonable argument could be made for Joey Dunlop. Deliberately treating Belfast as a separate entity which would probably have George Best.

Captain Obvious

Snapchap

A few who wound be very well known but maybe neither "loved" nor disliked (Sam Neill? Darren Clarke? Paul Brady?)

Dennis Taylor is famous and I think generally well liked.

Bernadette Devlin would surely tick both boxes though.

Ball Hopper

Daniel O'Connell who has a Catholic Church in his name in Cahirsiveen, Co. Kerry.

Rory McIlroy
Van Morrison
Jamie Dornan
Paddy Kielty
Pat Jennings
Gary Lightbody

George Best would win most famous and most loved if we include historic. Well, him or Jamie Bryson.

Already Oscar nominated in fairness. I'd say he's that level already.
