Surely this can't be right?
Does this matter? Players who play on the Friday night are not eligble for the Sunday. The reserve championship should be moved forward in the calendar, maybe even during the starred games period of the season.
Quote from: WT4E on September 20, 2024, 11:47:27 PMDidn't get to watch the games tonight. How did the Greencastle beragh game fair out? Thought Beragh might have had an sos in them.Greencastle were good
Quote from: Jerome on September 17, 2024, 10:31:24 AMJohnny Lafferty is there as a coach not a player. I think he featured for Urney in the championship. He has changed his name apparently
Quote from: Rebel84 on September 15, 2024, 02:55:31 PMGary Reilly and Packie McMullan both must be around the 40 mark now?Mcmullan pulling the strings for them still. Fine player. Serious engine
Quote from: Ballygawleyftw on September 14, 2024, 10:16:54 PMSean mcdonagh and Ronan strain will have the run of Pomeroy tomorrow. Hearing Micheal O'Neill has picked up a knock for Kileeshill? Any truth?Any word why strain transferred in from Omagh?

Wages issue has already been cleared up - this is the only thing holding the deal up, apparently.is like a sport's page April Fool story! Though would be great to see games in Dubgannon. Omagh is a soulless kip.
Dungannon is a factory town for foreign factory workers. There is nothing attractive about it, or playing big GAA games there. Omagh is not exactly cosmopolitan either, both shit holes would be fair.
Why do some people look down their noses at factory work? Particularly food factory work? This is why factories are desperate for people and have to hire staff from abroad.
It's easier to say somewhere is a dive - the list will be long!
Be interesting to see what people regard as the opposite i.e. a nice town/area.
Quote from: Ballygawleyftw on September 12, 2024, 02:19:11 PMI believe Horse hasn't been showing up to trainings half of the time either. They should ring their former player / current managerial mastermind Kyle Coney to stand in for the gameDefinitely more to offer on the field of play than in a managerial capacity
Quote from: Carmen1932 on September 11, 2024, 03:51:03 PM🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Quote from: Rebel84 on September 08, 2024, 08:09:10 PMDungannon were comfortable as half time approached and a 1-5 to 0-2 scoreline would have been more reflective but that 1-1 at the end of the half gave Donaghmore renewed hope and it was nip tuck the whole way through the second half. Paul Donaghy was well marked from play by the Donaghmore No.3 but he showed great composure for the penalty as a miss would have left Donaghmore only needing to go for a point on that last attack. Overall it was a very good game and you'd feel that Donaghmore are about 2 years away from being proper contenders.
Donaghmore 2 years away from being contenders? Never have & never will. Rarely get beyond 1st round of championship. Too nice. Youth success guarantees nothing. Decent league side - that's all. The people of Donaghmore are more interested in planting flowers and winning bloom competitions. Says it all really.

One of those clubs that had a once in a generation team that managed to get to division 1 and then unfortunately nothing coming behind to sustain that. They are a better team than that drubbing they got last night.
Two huge calls went against them in the first half. Definite penalty not given when their midfielder was dragged down going though on goal. Ref too far behind play gave 13m free. Then the Aghaloo penalty in injury time at the end of the first half. Never ever a penalty. When you hear the Aghaloo supporters laughing at how lucky they were to get it you know it's a horrendous call.
Eskra went in 4 down at half time when in reality could have been in front if given the penalty and converted, or at very least just a point down without the Aghaloo one. Would have been more reflective of the tight first half.
Second half though was a 10-15 min collapse, which Aghaloo punished severely. They're a very good outfit.
Either them or Drumquin for championship.
