Anyone seen Longlegs yet? Have seen some good reviews but I'm afraid it's another one that doesn't match the hype.

Quote from: lurganblue on July 16, 2024, 09:45:45 AMThe Bikeriders probably wasnt as good as I was hoping but I still enjoyed it. About a 5/6 out of ten. Jodie Comer steals the show with an excellent performance IMO.
Sounds like a waste of a good cast.

Yeah slightly. The cast are good, as you would expect.  Storyline perhaps lacking a little.

Horizon. An American Saga part 1. As the title suggests, it's long. I felt that the time went in well though as it flitted between the different storylines. I quite enjoyed it, but herself not so much.

I was annoyed by the preview of the next one that runs at the end of part 1. I'd always prefer to not have anything spoiled and try to avoid stuff like that.

Going to watch that tomorrow. Watching The Dead Don't Hurt now, very good so far.

Saw a new trailer for Trap last week, only a few weeks until its out and expecting it to be very good. In saying that, The Watchers was terrible although its technically not a M Night Shyamalan film, but made by his daughter.

Just seen this yesterday. Found it very confusing to follow. Id imagine all the storylines will come together though. The Costner scenes were good but I can see why its getting some poor reviews. The scenery is spectacular in parts. Will prob go to Part 2 as the spoiler stuff made it look interesting.

Twisters.  More of what you would expect if you've seen the 1st one. There are a few nods to the original. Obviously there are plenty of moments that suspend belief but overall I thought that it was entertaining enough.

Anyone that does chase these storms in real life must be mental.

Yep. Saw it last night with the kids, watched the original with them at the weekend to set it up.
Some of them thought the original was better, some of them though this new one was better. lol.
I liked it, didnt have to think too hard to watch it.

Hated this film, was to much jumping back and forth into different story lines. The editing was awful as it just felt that they had a deadline to meet so just get it done quick.

Captain Obvious

Marvel good at hyping up their movies however will the movie live up to it's hype?
