Timahoe, Annanough, Courtwood and Barrowhouse all won first round games.
Timahoe should be able to get promoted this year and I'd expect Ballyfin and Annanough to also be there or thereabouts.
Clonaslee 1-16 Kilcavan 1-7.

We were completed outclassed by a very young Courtwood side yesterday. They will be a force in the Intermediate Champ. Young Luttrell and their number 12 caused us serious problems. Not sure who the ref was
That was Tomas Moore. Fair play to him, he had a couple of umpires with him which isn't always guaranteed.
Joseph's beat Graigue. Strong team Joseph's. Lot of good young lads with a few older heads to help them along.
Good start by Barrowhouse. 2 from 2. Big scoring too.
Annanough 1-8 Courtwood 3-15. ???

If anyone wants a report on the match the Courtwood PRO has a comprehensive report up on their Facebook page thats worth reading.

A fine piece of ferociously biased reporting it is too.🤗

I'm liking this new approach to social media
Barrowhouse seem to be going very well. Beat Timahoe 2-7 to 0-10 last night. And Courtwood gave Ballyfin an unmerciful beating.
Was Quigley back for Timahoe?

Was Quigley back for Timahoe?
From what I hear Quigley is very doubtful to play for Laois this year.
Sadly Brendan probably wont tog out again for Laois. injures have caught up with him. an unbeliever servant to Laois football . Miicko once described himself and Clancy as the best midfield combination you could wish for.
What a pity if true, a great servant to Laois football..
God bless the rumour mill. Brendan warmed up last night with the team before the match in grauige then flogged himself running on his own. Let's not put the obituary in the Leinster express just yet. Fact check first lads
Did he play for Timahoe last night I wonder?
Thought it was Paul Kingston doing all the running on his own over by the far ditch in Graigue Tuesday night. Never saw Brendan move from the wall apart from ht when Brody was warming up with kick outs. Even at that it was noticeable Colm Begley was kicking the ball back and not Brendan

No sign of him.
He has an on oing groin injury which will rule him out for this year...
I think he hasn't given up hope of putting on the Laois jersey just yet tho!
Joseph's 1-11 Courtwood 0-12.
Joseph's have some strength in depth to be fair.
Joes and Park drew last night ...Tom Kelly was excellent
Kilcavan 3-11 Barrowhouse 4-09, sounds like a decent game.
Very tight division going by website. Any of 5 or 6 teams still in the hunt to go up. Timahoe must be favourites though. Joes and Barrowhouse and Park all have chances. Courtwood seem to have fallen off the pace (missing county players?) and Clonaslee seem to have found a bit of form.
All tightening up at the top of this division. A few teams finished up . Joseph's look to be top. Barrowhouse Courtwood clonaslee timahoe and Park fighting it out for second and third. If it comes to head to head I don't know where it is but on score difference Courtwood and Barrowhouse have an edge. Annanough and Kilcavan had poor leagues and doesn't bode well for junior championship.

I think Joseph's are up after last night. Barrowhouse and Courtwood looking good too. Timahoe probably out of the running now and Park need to win three games in the space of a week or so.

A maths degree would be needed to figure out the various possibilities in this. I think Joes are the only ones guaranteed a semi final spot.
Joesephs guaranteed at least a semi final . Barrowhouse vs clonaslee this week. Barrowhouse win would put them top and into final. If clonaslee win they finish level on points with barrowhouse and Courtwood. Does this take head to head out of it and does it go to score difference. In the case of the later, Clonaslee would have to win by 15 points?
Has relegation been decided yet?
Are plaois automatically relegated after not entering league this year, anyway i think league structures are going to be changed for next year

Graiguecullen, Kilcavan, Annanough & Ballyfin all ended up on 6 points each. As there were walkovers I believe score difference is not used so not sure what happens here. Maybe a playoff?

Correct 4 way play off. How many go down I don't know. I would expect only 1 as there was only 11 teams in the league. To bring it back to 12 only 1 would go down and 2 come up from div 3
Has it been decided yet if leagues are been restructured next year, wonder is there any need fir a relagation play off

There's one in the fixtures list anyway.
